Did anyone find the HMR canopy to be too thick? I didn't notice or care at first, but my VT-1 has a cloudy canopy, then I notice how thick they are. Not sure if the polish + future/pledge dunk method will work. Worth trying to do a vacuum forming replacement? Any idea?

The good thing for me is, Milia is not shipped, waiting for the VE-1 PF release. And then they will be on the ferry. It will be months before I really will feel the pressure of the missing PF Max. Good to have some time for my wallet to recover.

I am also been eyeing PF Max since I ordered the Milia PF. Still holding out, but I know I will cave in at the end.

Shipping delay from AmiAmi for my 1D. Receive an email saying that they messed up the shipping weight and the package was returned to them. Will re-invoice. They have handled many 1D boxes by now, how can the weight we wrong?

If I am brave enough, a sharp knife and a small metal wire can resolve this.

I am thinking of cutting a small piece of scotch tape and stick it to the edge of the stand, to add a thin layer of plastic like what you have suggested for protection.

I believe that feet if cast metal, so that is most likely a seam line.

Thanks for the advice. I did received the first payment request email. Went in and change payment method from PayPal to credit card. Then my order lost its shipping estimate, say pending. But the order status is pending payment. After one whole day, the shipping estimate never get done. Reached out to customer service and they said it should get updated soon. But I feel it needs human intervention. The system is not robust to allow change of payment method just prior to payment. Not good. I guess I am just frustrated that I have to wait for no good reason.

AmiAmi still has not invoiced me. Do that work on Saturday? This is frustrating. Whish I can just cancel and get one from HLJ right away instead of waiting for their crappy system to sort things out.

I feel you. There is no Max PF, at least you have a complete PF pair. Hope your salse of the non-PF pair goes well. I will consider if I want to sell my non-PF when the PF arrive in 3 months. Since there is absolutely no urgency in getting this in, so $1 saving is not to be sneezed at. Well, let hope it does not really take 3 months. Trying to exercise self-control is futile. Thanks. They come by occasionally. Do grab one when you can, in person it is so much nicer than all the photo I have seen. The gun pod was put aside as I was fixing a slightly displaced door flap. Should have taken a photo of that too. It has some matching gold details that make it a bit different from all other gun pods.
