  1. Well, considering the size maybe in ABS can hold the weight and even pose. Anyways, the sculpt looks GREAT. I am toatlly getting one as long as they dont make it 80% PVC and 20% ABS. That would be horrible.
  2. My DMZ 03 actually have a very very very nice soft weathering, I trully LOVE the paint job. Sure I "could" do it better, but it is awsome in the way it is. The DMZ 01 may be more weathered, but I am not sure if I will really like it... It should be really well done. You saw my Yamato, so I already have a heavy weathered doggie. Question, can you find the Votoms animations in H.K. or I should order it somewhere wlse?
  3. I cant follow the link. Access is forbidden. Buuuu
  4. I got the DMZ with the round mover. It IS a fantastic toy, but I missed some decals and tampoo prints. Mine comes with NOTHING.... really annoying. The poseable hands are just GREAT and I really dont care much about the microman figure, It is stored inside the dog : ) so I cant see it. Anyways side by side my my Yammie Dog... I think I like the Yamato better. Well, I painted my Yamato, otherwise I would prefer the DMZ. All in all, great toy, GREAT FINISHING.... I will buy them all. LAter will post some pics of my twoi Dogs for size comparisson.
  5. Me likes the 08th Zaku also.... definetelly buying a couple.
  6. Truly great news!! not because I like the Turn A but because the 100th is NOT a RX 78.... YAY!
  7. LOL G-MAN... that was pure propaganda!! Anyways... can you get us some free speare parts hahahaha Forget it... I just hope Yamato deleivers something so good.... it will make me FORGET my crappy ARMLESS GARLAND. SPL
  8. G-Man in person emailing Yamato USA for spare parts?! I can beleive it. Why dont you just asked Yamato to give you the parts (or a few whole new metalized garlands) while you where trying that helmet and chatting with the Yamato CEO?!
  9. The Yamato 1/48 is the BEST VF 1 perfect trans rendition to date. It may be expensive, it may be plastic, it may be many things. can anyone get a better VF 1? nope?? Then shut up. By the way... the 1/60s are trully horrible , even my 4 years son toys are better designed...
  10. I bought the Blood Sucker a few months ago, the thing was UGLY so I decided to leave it on the box and give it to my son. I totally forgot about it until Graham asked about the Max Factory Votoms in his last visit so we opened the box and checked the toy once again. I was secretely hoping I would find it better this time... but nope... the Blood Sucker SUCKS. It IS the tipical crappy PVC figure who suffers all the PVC deseases you can name.
  11. Recently somebody pointed out something weird about the name of this thread... I am too lazy to check ten pages and see the oppinion of the rest of you guys... but I guess (or should I say "we") if nobody says nothing about the slight chance... then silence means acceptance... sad
  12. Looks nice, I was thinking on doing one myself but with the uban cammo out and all the work I have I lost the courage. nice custom!
  13. I have the Black Fewture Getter one, normal Getter one and the Getter two. While they are expensive I think they are pure toy porn and actually I dont mind paying the original asking price. They worth it. The eBay prices are other story...
  14. I agree with fort max... it sounds like somebody dropped the toy and put it back in the box. The Labor packaging is really well done, the toy is strongly secured. ot even droping the box should damage the toy is that way IMO.
  15. Hi Greg. I only saw one Labor in the Shop, but maybe he will get more. Dunno. This people usually have few things in stock and they sell fast. We can check next time you come.
  16. Mowe. What you NEED to get is the Fewture Diecast Getter one Ryoma mode (the back one), then the red one and definetelly the getter 2. Those are just the BEST gokings EVER. GIG, HEAVY, COOL LOOKING and limited.... the best ever. A bit expensive tho... ; ) And then you NEED to buy the CM's LAbor. Better do all at the same time, you will be one happy Mowe... YAY!
  17. My "toy Dealer" here in SHG called me today and I got one of this CM's Labors. I wasn't so sure at the beginning, the pictures I saw where not "especially nice" and I am not a Die hard fan of Patlabor, but I am totally happy with my purchase. Main thing I found is the size; it is actually a bit small so many of the problems I saw on the pics are not that bad. In fact it is a damn cool robotoooo, not big-not small, nice sculpt, paint is very well applied, nice poseability and very heavy for its size, nice tampoo printings (Yamato… ). I was surprised with the lights, usually I don’t like much battery operated mechas, they normally look stupid, but they are in fact a great addition to the toy, they look like real sirens. What I mostly disliked from the pics where the cloth and the screws, it is not like I "like them now" but they don't bother me as much as I tough. The best part is I paid only 700 RMBs which is like 88 USD... ... so I am happy with this toy. I was positively surprised CM’s can deliver such nice toy, good to see new players different in this small market of “high end die cast MEcha toysâ€.
  18. Looks like my inner Gundam fan boy is playing tricks on me...
  19. A top coat will definetelly help to keep the decals/stickers in plce and avoid peeling. I Use Me clear (a big can) an the results are nice. The prolem with stikers is they are too thick, no matter how good they are they will always show up. They are good for toys but so-so for models.
  20. Yeah! we cannot see you face!!! Weeeeeeeee!
  21. It started with a Rx 78 and for sure they will make a "suppa cool" RX 78 for the 100 issue... ANOTHER RX 78... and the funny thing is the design sucks and it doesnt matter how hard they try IT will suck anyways.
  22. It seems to be a fixed pose kit, at least from the pics I saw, If it is poseable, then it will rock, as long it is not made out of P-V-C crap. Anyways It looks like a Fixed statue in a boring pose, hope I'm wrong. I agree with Mowe, the sculpt is super cool.
  23. Well, it is great news you are for the big event and also visiting Yamato offices, just remember to take some pics of YAmmie palace so all haters here see the opulence! My opinnion is loose the laptop and use the extra space to carry the cool stuff you will get! I envy you soooooo much! Good luck G-Man!
  24. Why preorder? Hummm because we are all Macross Toy Whores!! Because we love the whaiting, we count the days from the Japan/HK release till the the day the stuff is in our door step, the exitement every new toy brings, and so on. Now... some people I guess preoder just to Bitc*h arround (maybe the money is not really the issue?) and some other just preorder because they love macross... (that's me). I have enjoyed every single toy I have now on my shelf, I am not buying a car neither a high fi equipment, so I just enjoy like a kid; something many here should try to learn. Certainly I am not a kid anymore in real life the fun and happiness this toys give to me are huge, compared with the money I spend on Gasoline, nannies, schools, hotels, air tickets, clothes... and so on... Maybe some of the members should try to admire this little plastic things with kids eyes while they treat them with grown up hands. And again, if the only thing you see are the flaws, then find a new hobby, because you have lost it, and that is another issue you should treat with your shrink.
