  1. I guess the best will be a US based member to distribute the spare parts... Guys I know this maybe wont help anyone but I fixed my VF 1S shoulder using some spare wrist watch hands I had. This things are easy to buy on eBay for custom works... Diameter of the center hole was almost exactly for the metal Rod,so I drilled a hole where the plastic broke and inserted the watch hand all the way in. I used 3 minute watch hands. Then added some glue, then a little epoxy and now the shoulder works and even looks great. I know it sounds difficult but it only took like 20 mints to get the job done.
  2. Amazing!!! I remember the old days, when I had the time to built Kits. It's being 3 years without building anything....
  3. Amazing work as always!! What I find truly incredible is your wife letting you take over the house like that. Lucky you. Me... I have a dark room without light (not a small cave, but close) where I am allowed to built my models...
  4. Big improve by Bandai! I was never satisfaied with tehir DX line so it is Really nice to see they are doing some efforts with a franchise other than Gundam
  5. I will get a couple of set as well for sure
  6. amazing. Best SDF1 I have seen
  7. The arm of my super VF 1S just fell off the damn toy... and I transformed the think only twice... Hinge broke beyond repair. Damn poorly designed toy... what a let down. I am way too lazy to ready the whole thread, any way to get a new hinge around?
  8. Damn... I am sold... Will they release more types??? Anyones knows?
  9. Dig out your Air Brush you lazy Aussie??? when was the last time you use it I wonder???
  10. Hi guys I just got one... not enough time to play him arround but the first impressions are mixed... It feels like a 1/6 figure, but it is a Robotoooooo which makes me feel out of place. The gun is cool... but I am toatlly getting some 1/6 really cool weapons so he can look a bit more manly. Now... It seems some other company manufactured this one... I mean other than Yamato. It looks like the "Yamato - Dragon" Panzer Cop ever released (at the time wise)... too much too good for our beloved but always full of flaws YAmmies products (but carefull here I have NOT handled this thing yet for more than 5 minutes), Box art is nice... FIRST TIME EVER... Toy is NICE... even we can get some SILK PRINT!! YAY! PAckaging... it is to die for. not at all like normal Yamato products, stryro foam and "silk" (nylon 100%, but suppa cool still) covers instead of plastic baggies... it was orgasmic to ope the box.. Get this one if you can... I still like my CM's but this BIG mecha is a dream... at least until we find some bug like in the VF 0a and the Garland... the you can buy it for 40 bucks also still prefer ,y Fewture getters and MAz.. also the Great Impact Gurren but this toy deserves its price tag FOR SURE.
  11. I am getting it... this My will be my last month in Asia after 9 years so I will buy every songle cool toy release... I have a 40" HQ container to fill!!! LOL!
  12. I remember the reviews of the peacemaker where awfull, that is why I am s worried about the broken labor. So is the paint job nicely done? What about plastic, is it all PVC or there is some ABS? Can you post some pics?? Thanks for the comments!
  13. Anyone got the CM's Broken labor?? or any reviews? I am tempted to get one but after the disastrous Peace maker CM's
  14. I am really looking forward this one... I hope Yamato uses the same factory they produced the new 1/60 VF 1 line, I love the thin panel lines and the toy construction... not like the Bandai DX toys with their shinny plastic, PVC heads and 3mm panel lines...
  15. Hi and welcome to MW. I recommend you to go check the model kit section for info on the Bandai Kits, this is the DX toy thread, not the model kit one. People have different tastes, some will prefer the toy over the kit as it is sturdier and it comes in a box totally finished, others will prefer the model as it is more accurate have better proportions and... well... it IS better in all ways except playability and the fact you have to built it. Check both threads and take your own conclusions. Feel free to PM me if you want more info on this issue, I have both toys and models And your english seems to be fine.
  16. Guys I am really confused about which figure to buy. I find the 1/6 really nice and all but WAY to big, so I am thinking about the 1/10. Can anyone pls give me some more info or show some pics of the 1/10 figures>??? So far I can only see the promo pics Thanks!!
  17. This is awesome, and every time I check the thread is getting better... too much. I wonder what macross project will surprise me in future... after this I guess none... so please take your time to finish this bad boy
  18. Hi G-man i bought one for my kid (X mas) and the legs DO fall easily.... way too easy. It is a poorly designed toy IMO, and considering the price tag it is a huge let down if not a straight rip off. Anyways I did fix the problem, I can post some pics later if you want... it looks diffcult to do but if you have the tools it is actally pretty easy. After the legs stay in place, the toy is truly amazing. quote name='Graham' date='Dec 1 2008, 08:59 PM' post='686711'] Was considering getting the big AT TE, but I've been reading online about how the legs fall off too easily. Anyboday have it and have this problem. Graham
  19. Thanks for the nice comments guys!! Funny some of you still remember the old stuff I made so long ago!!! Specially the "low vis" that was like 6 years ago!!! LSB, I used a Nato Black for the weathering and a dark brown, After I made the basic weathering I sprayed the light khaki (I had to mix the paint, it is easy, tamiya khaki and white) to soften the weathering. Then add details and some more weathering, panel lines, and a top coat. Normally the Top coat is semi gloss so the decals say Ok. Finally applied a semi gloss clear coat. Since you liked the Scope Dog I made, I will later post some pics of a strong Bachus I made about the same time. thanks for the again guys!!
  20. It is completely air brushed, detailed and decaled... Sadly the light was totally wrong wen I took the pictures so it is hard to see the weathering but it is there.
  21. Last custom I made was YEARS ago! Finally got some time 4 the Tomahawk... this is an incredibly nice built toy IMO. One of the best by Yamato so far. The light was really bad so some details are really hard to see. Only problem is I lost the damn pilot!!!
  22. My friend. Beleive me... you are the only one to blame. I got my 25S today... I wil have it ready by this friday along with the Alto custom and my custom Tomahawk (1/60). Then will post some pics! So you can make some fun of me. SPL
  23. I also own the two psicho and one RX 78. IMO these figures are amazing. Normal Fix figures cant be compared to these in any way.
  24. Got mine and it is perfect condition. The whole toy is really great, love the panel lines and details.... nice, really. Anyways I really need the side covers and the spare part to cover the hole behing the neck in battroid mode.
  25. Guys. The Konami Gurren Laggan is back in Stock at HLJ. Hurry up! http://www.hlj.com/product/knm13491
