I've contacted our supplier and trying to find out if they'll be able to get these Woohoo! Any chance on offering some sort of "bulk" deal for those of us wanting to purchase mass quantities of Regults? Maybe sell them by the case or something?

Just preordered another 1/48 (Hikaru VF-1J, of course)... Which will up my total to a whopping 2 1/48's.

In short, yes, Yamatos are the best. ... Alright, that's just my opinion, but for me, I find the 1/60s and the 1/48s both to be great pieces. I'm more into displaying my Valks, "playing" with them only a little, and so the more accurate scuplts and great detail on the Yammies won me over, right from the start. For a variable, relatively mass-produced Valk (LE's aside), (IMO) there is no beating Yamato.

Just placed a preorder with Tamim over at Twin Moons for a -1J with FAST Packs. I absolutely love the Hikaru VF-1J (my favorite VF-1 variant and paint scheme) and TV FAST Packs are an added bonus! (I'll probably slap 'em on my Focker -1S instead, though...)

1/48 would be preferred, but I'd take any scale as long as its done well!!

What, more VF-1s? Bah... I just want my Hikaru -1J, then that's about enough VF-1s for me... I'd love to see a VF-11 and/or VF-4.

The VF-1D is generally seen to be dual-use, IIRC: as a trainer and as a two-seat combat unit.

Really what a MOSPEADA/RT NG game needs is to be not just FPS, but also TPS. i.e., first-person for on-foot combat, third-person for ride armor, and selectable cameras for Legioss/Alpha (or Tread/Beta). Maybe just have the ability to swap between first- and third-person views no matter what you're doing/wearing/piloting/whatever (like in the good old Shogo - MAD) Still, I find it quite amusing that they call it "Robotech: Invasion". I had a MOSPEADA/RT NG mod for Half-Life a ways back by that same name (I removed the "RT" part just before the project's demise in order to win over some MOSPEADA fans) - which, BTW, did in fact utilize both first- and third-person perspectives by the last dev version (though I did not yet have the Cyclone truly transformable yet)

I just placed an order with Kevin as well... for a while there I was beginning to worry that I wasn't going to be getting any of these figures...

Let's see... Solid construction and good articulation are a must - but those aren't really gimmicks. I'd like to see removable missiles - at the very least, each and every missile pod should be able to open/close. The support vehicle idea sounds really cool, too. Cockpits and pilots would also be nice. (but may be difficult to do - I don't remember exactly where the cockpits are on the Destroids, but they aren't that easy to replicate in a 1/60 scale toy/model, are they?)

Takatoys has made some high-quality stickers, and Anasazi37 makes water-slide decals for Yammies. Check the for sale forums, and drop by TMPAnime if you're interested.

Currently, the TC is on v1.3 - a patch to v1.35 should be out within the next few days (due to some issues with files getting trashed in one way or another, unbeknownst to me, just before building the installer for v1.3 - the patch will also provide some minor tweaks that got overlooked)

I order primarily from Kevin at V-E and Tamim at Twin Moons. I've also placed orders at BBTS, ImageAnime, and HobbyFan. I have gotten a few things from fellow MW'ers, as well as some stuff at conventions, but I mainly rely on online retailers for quality Macross merchandise.

Yeah, same here... I had some info in my PMs on the old boards that I'd like to still have access to, as well as a few threads I would reference from time to time... Hopefully, we'll have full access to the old forums, but read-only.
