  1. It's only SAL small parcel that doesn't have a tracking number and if people insist on buying from HLJ who will not use normal SAL (which does have a tracking number) and don't pay for EMS then they've no grounds to jump up and down because they don't have a tracking number when things go south.
  2. No number, no track it's as simple as that unfortunately. There is still some form of minimal coverage included in the SAL postage fee but HLJ will have get the ball rolling with Japan Post and if JP are like any other postal service they will have a minimum waiting time etc, etc. Not really sure why you are jumping up and down in these forums The info about what to do and how to go about it is easily obtained and no one but yourself can help you. It's all part of the joys of the big wide corporate "all care but no responsibility" world we live in
  3. Just go here and put in the number Japan Post Tracking

    Cleaning

Just wash them in water No special tricks and if you use filtered rain water or water for irons it won't leave any spots. They make take a few days to dry but works every time for me. I even wash most of my models that way too. The only ones I don't wash with water are the the ones on display bases as some of the surface coatings don't like getting wet and end up turning into real mud and muck
  5. And soon to a Cat's Eye to the list. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Say no more.
  6. Curious or web lazy It would have taken you longer to write the list than do a decent search A lot of those kits have been discussed fairly often on this site and even my pathetic search-fu can find references to most of them And as said put a call out in the wanted section. I'm pretty sure someone has put a list up pretty similar to yours in not so distant past.
  7. That's where I got the 1/48 kit from. Unfortunately the Stratos 4 kit looks like it may only be in 1/72 but at least it will give me an idea of what needs to be done.
  8. I've just started the final coat on one of John's Defenders. Once that's finished it's on to finish an Armorcast Atlas that is beating the snot out of a Clan elemental with an arm he just ripped off of a Mad Dog (Vulture).
  9. Thanks for that. Waiting won't be a problem I'll just do a few of the more than 200 kits I've got occupying most of the house
  10. Thanks. I see what you mean about the missiles. Looking at the model it doesn't look quite as bad as it does under the unforgiving gaze of the camera. Now that I have to wear glasses for close up work it was hard enough painting the missiles without getting any white (almost ) on the base piece so now that its all glued together I don't thing I trust myself to do anything else in case I stuff it up. I have another one that I'd like to do with all the missiles firing (that would fix the problem) but I don't know whether I'll ever find the time to cut each missile from the base piece and do all the other things needed to make it look right.
  11. Thanks but I reckon you could, just don't experiment with new paint on a $130 kit like I did
  12. I've got one of the huge Airfix TSR-2 kits and want to do it as the TSR.2MS but am having difficulty finding any decent pictures of it (crappy search-fu ). I'm not really interested in cockpit pics as I'm going to wuss out and do it with a closed cockpit but any external pics, especially ones that show any markings and colouring would be appreciated. (Edited to get the plane's name right, Doh!)
  13. Finally finished one of John's Tomahawk kits. While I don't think it's up to the standard of some of the work shown here it doesn't look too bad from a distance. Had a few disasters along the way. I used Vallejo paint and I wasn't used to the way it dries and ended up with a few mistakes in the finish so I dirtied it up a bit to hide the evidence The outside right leg decal didn't approve and started to crack but not much I could do about it so I'll just have to make sure I position it on the shelf so that it can't be easily seen .
  14. Plenty of places are heaps cheaper than HLJ just look around and yes hkcollectibles are reliable. More so than HLJ IMHO.
  15. Use these Caution decals or these more caution decals They come in other colours, this is just a few. They are heaps better than Yamato's and they are ready to use. For the kites you could use these Macross decals
  16. Bandai do decal sets for the newly released GN-0000 PG so you never know they well release decals for other PG kits in the future.
  17. Flesh Gordon. Great special effects , superb acting and lots of er flesh . What more could you want
  18. Just curious to know how the pre-order deal on Starship Modeller works if you are not casting anymore and you still have the molds. How is Gundamhead getting more arms to fill the orders?
  19. They've gone down the loli path with Ranka so why not take it all the way and base the next idol on Gary Glitter
  20. Half Life (+ Blue Shift & Op Force) Half Life 2 (to a lesser extent) Mechwarrior 2 (+ Ghost Bears Legacy & Mercenaries) Mechwarrior 3 Mechwarrior 4 (+ Black Knight & Mercenaries) Mechcommander Mechcommander 2 Unreal (+ Return to Na Pali) Steel Panthers (all) Delta Force Black Hawk Down and expansions
  21. Hey, enough of the "I want" and more of the "I have" please. This thread wasn't started so web crawlers could post pics out of mags or web sites, it was started to show the REAL (so to speak) thing.
  22. I've got a bazillion Quatloos in a plain brown envelope that I just happened to pick up at a garage sale. How many will that get me
  23. Nice T-800. I've got the Horizon vinyl kit but it's not as detailed as that figure of yours without a lot of effort BTW I thought this thread was for figures you had NOT figures you want.
  24. I really hope to see world peace and above all an end to the never ending need to blame global warming for everything that happens.
  25. I doubt you'd make enough to retire on Most places that still have the pack in stock are virtually giving it away. One of the best things those packs had going for them was they were not pot luck like the regular series were. You knew what you were getting and there were some decent cards in some of the packs as well. I reckon your best bet would be to break the pack up and sell the components individually. That way you just might get your money back.
