  1. I've got the Madman versions of both. Excellent well worth it. Don't bother with Robotech Masters & New Gen (or whatever they're called), watch the real deal it's much better.
  2. Depends on the type of paint. I've had paint literally peel off as the brake fluid touches it and in other instances it has taken a few days. Just make sure you wash it all off as it will eat any new paint you put over the top Best thing about it is that it's cheap, re-usable & will not harm the plastic. I've had plastic figures (both poly prop (soft plastic) & poly styrene (hard plastic)) soaking in it for months and no damage to them what so ever.
  3. Plain old brake fluid. Any type except silicon. Won't hurt the plastic.
  4. So you've seen the new kits then?
  5. Hmmm, with all these negative waves how could this re-release be anything but a failure Hate to see what the reaction will be once someone actually see's one of the models
  6. How do you know that? Are they getting them through a time machine
  7. Try coating the decal with PVA glue. Elmer's is one brand. It dries clear and if done with a light hand doesn't look too obvious. Just put a dab under the edge that is lifting then wait for it to dry then coat the entire decal to just past the edges. If it looks too shiny you can put a coat of matt over it. Use a water based matt as paints like Testors Dullcote can re-act with the glue.
  8. Okay so maybe the tongue thing doesn't do it for you (good party trick though). How about a sailor uniform and a copy of the song Motteke! Sailor Fuku from Lucky Star.
  9. Just sit the corner with a sly look on your face and when she looks over lick your eye brows.
  10. Yep there goes the neighborhood I can just see it. Buy Now $5 Postage $150
  11. Woh! Too much information You could have just said you were posing the figure. The bed part has my sick little mind racing to all sorts of conclusions I'll never look at my Revoltech VF-1 the same again. Now where are my Patlabor figures
  12. If Bandai are going to make kits I'm looking forward to some HG, MG & PG goodness Couldn't care less who makes the toys
  13. 1/60: 19 1/48: 3
  14. Anime accurate. You hit the nail right on the head. Hasegawa kits are great but they treated them just like any other 1/72 aircraft kit. Super detailed, heaps of pieces and state of the art molding. They make a great scale model but for that anime look the Bandai kits win as far as I'm concerned. Both kits can be made into great models as seen from all the posted pics but in this case I reckon the Bandai's less is more as far as I'm concerned.
  15. Hmm gleaned from an ASS, hey That pretty much explains it
  16. Just a stab in the dark but I'd say anime magic has a lot to do with it
  17. I'm in.
  18. I'll be #16 All the other purple boxes I've got are feeling lonely
  19. Spartan! Spartan! Oh yeah. Recuperating is for wimps As Bon Jovi said "I'll sleep when I'm dead". Any way after all that I'll have 1.
  20. That just reminded me why I can't stand Robotech
  21. You don't work for the CIA by any chance All these polls and questions
  22. Gundam noob here I just finished watching 0080 and in the last episode I caught a glimpse of UN Spacy written on the side of the Gundam's head as it was sliding backwards down the hill. What's the story there I knew there was a tie in with Patlabor on one of the SD Gundam shows but what's the Macross connection?
  23. As long as you're behind Ohta you should be safe
  24. Forces of Valor might be some help. Forces of Valor dioramas
  25. Hey it's just an observation I'd be more likely to buy one if she was "chucking a bone" (saluting) than if she just looked like she was swatting flies
