The reference pic is of Minmay. She's not military so her salutes are going to look like she's waving or flicking her hair away but Misa is military and I'm pretty sure if you watch all her salutes she won't be flopping around like that.

Looking good so far but is it possible to close the hand up and make it straighter? At the moment she looks more as if she's waving instead of saluting.

Recently I had a bit of a mix up with my account and during their efforts to fix it they told me that they know too well their system is not too flash but hope to have things sorted out by mid next year as they are moving into larger premises which will allow them to employ more people and they will also get another order processing system. Sometimes they may be slow but at least they do their best to sort things out when the wheels fall off unlike some other places I've dealt with that just ignore and hope you'll go away. Right on Played 40k up until about a year ago (Marines, Tau, DE, Orks, Guards, Necrons & Eldar). The constant rule changes that render an army useless, the rip off prices for rubbish models and the never ending shelling out of money to stay in touch finally broke the camel's back. Give me CBT any day.

I've been using Tamiya paints for years and they brush just fine (some of the lighter colours need finessing). Vallejo is good for brushing (their air brush matt clear is great) and GW for the most part is acceptable. GW paints dry out in the bottle too easily and become thick (especially if you live in a warm climate) so put them in the fridge to prolong their life. But having said that it's more of a case of horse for courses and each to their own. Contrary to other replies I can only say that in the 30+ years I've been using Tamiya and having tried just about every paint out there I'll use it above any other. BTW the paints you get from some of the cheap stores & craft stores do a pretty good job and don't cost an arm and a leg and you can get some pretty funky colours. If you're worried about drying time you can get products that when mixed with acrylics give them similar drying characteristics to enamels. Flotrol is one of them but as I'm in Australia I don't know if its available elsewhere and what it would be called.

Ohta's Patlabor was trashed 2 episodes before the final battle when it was dragged into the harbour by the Griffon through one the holes he shot in the bridge after one of his usual displays of stupidity. Kanuka's #3 held off Bud's Griffon while Noa's Alphose had it's batteries changed.

Check your account. I've had them both on pre-order since about 1/2 an hour after they announced they were re-stocking and both are now tagged as future release. Haven't got the dreaded email yet but I'd say it won't be far away
