Anime accurate. You hit the nail right on the head. Hasegawa kits are great but they treated them just like any other 1/72 aircraft kit. Super detailed, heaps of pieces and state of the art molding. They make a great scale model but for that anime look the Bandai kits win as far as I'm concerned. Both kits can be made into great models as seen from all the posted pics but in this case I reckon the Bandai's less is more as far as I'm concerned.

Just a stab in the dark but I'd say anime magic has a lot to do with it -
Valk009 for some more Club-M resin goodness.

Spartan! Spartan! Oh yeah. Recuperating is for wimps As Bon Jovi said "I'll sleep when I'm dead". Any way after all that I'll have 1.

Gundam 0080 on ANN's "Buried Treasure" Feature
thegunny replied to Mr March's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Gundam noob here I just finished watching 0080 and in the last episode I caught a glimpse of UN Spacy written on the side of the Gundam's head as it was sliding backwards down the hill. What's the story there I knew there was a tie in with Patlabor on one of the SD Gundam shows but what's the Macross connection? -
As long as you're behind Ohta you should be safe

Hey it's just an observation I'd be more likely to buy one if she was "chucking a bone" (saluting) than if she just looked like she was swatting flies
-
The reference pic is of Minmay. She's not military so her salutes are going to look like she's waving or flicking her hair away but Misa is military and I'm pretty sure if you watch all her salutes she won't be flopping around like that.
-
Looking good so far but is it possible to close the hand up and make it straighter? At the moment she looks more as if she's waving instead of saluting.

Recently I had a bit of a mix up with my account and during their efforts to fix it they told me that they know too well their system is not too flash but hope to have things sorted out by mid next year as they are moving into larger premises which will allow them to employ more people and they will also get another order processing system. Sometimes they may be slow but at least they do their best to sort things out when the wheels fall off unlike some other places I've dealt with that just ignore and hope you'll go away. How many public holidays do you work?

Ah! run for the hills. A big screen version of Big Bird & the Tree Huggers Let sleeping dogs (or in this case birds) lie.

We don't have a local store in Australia

LIVE ACTION ROBOTECH (WB gets the rights)
thegunny replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Hope they use all the Macross songs and not just that crap that Minmay sings all the way through Robotech. Hey MEMO1DOMINION ease up on the caps you don't have to yell at everyone -
Right on Played 40k up until about a year ago (Marines, Tau, DE, Orks, Guards, Necrons & Eldar). The constant rule changes that render an army useless, the rip off prices for rubbish models and the never ending shelling out of money to stay in touch finally broke the camel's back. Give me CBT any day.

Macross 25th Anniversary and upcoming new TV series thread

Hence the saying "She's got a good head for radio (or voice acting as the case may be)"
