    Nice - congrats Dave! I empathize with you Spanner, and glad to read that people's orders are starting to trickle out (from CDJ). I also feel you about N-Y, I really don't like them as my first choice, but they're hard to beat for exclusive items. N-Y didn't use to be this slow with processing preorders, and when things take as long as they have been (your 8-11 days mirrors my recent experience as well) it's noticeable. Anyway, I guess this type of thing is just one of the 'costs' of being in this hobby. I guess I'll practice mediation to help with my patience. -b.

    For those that ordered a 31A thru Loopaza (I also ordered last week on 03/20/17) and had tracking that showed the package was just sitting in Hong Kong check now, I signed up for alerts via USPS tracking and my package is now moving, showing that it's been processed thru a sorting facility (2nd update that I've received in the last 30 minutes). -b.

    Hopefully people (now including me) are just suffering from a little waiting game anxiety but we’re not all waiting for N-Y. My orders are from other vendors, one order has the phantom tracking number in Hong Kong and the other vendor that has canceled one order as reported by another member of the forums. -b.

    For the record I was the first "Upvote" on this yesterday afternoon. I just didn't have time, or perhaps the energy, to post. I'm still in the camp that for the most part enjoyed the Last Jedi but I wholeheartedly agree with everything @technoblue wrote. While I don't mind that Luke's character evolved, or perhaps, diverged so much from the OT Luke, the changes would have been served so much better if there'd been more context around why Luke was the way he was. I am praying that JJ gives us a satisfying payoff to the trilogy but I'm not holding my breath. I generally like his work, but the mysteries without a payoff routine really is tiresome. Anyway, looking forward to getting this on 4K/Blu ray so that I can watch it again and take a look at all of the extra material. -b. *Off-topic - Star Trek was awesome, Into Darkness had like 30 good minutes and the rest was trash, IMHO

    Saw it earlier today, as someone already mentioned this one had a bit of heart to it. Taken as a whole, the movie was also much better acted than the original with Idris Elba being the lone exception from Pacific Rim. For those worried about acting from Scott Eastwood (I certainly was based on his other work) he actually did a good job and his was actually a likable character. For those that may not like Boyega after his turn in SW you may be surprised, his character was also likable and well acted. I was reminded of his turn in Attack the Block. All in all I was pleasantly surprised, I didn't have low expectations but they weren't sky high either. The action was good, the Jaegars behaved in the same way from a mechanical standpoint, albeit they were all a bit faster than those in the first Pacific Rim. Story was good, most of the characters were enjoyable, CG was solid, the "twist" was interesting and the movie had heart. I will say this, if you've already got your mind set based on your perception of the trailers, the "everything sucks" YouTube reviewers or the few incredibly persistent negative posters on the boards then you probably won't enjoy it - BUT - if you are the type to keep an open mind, or wanted to see this from jump then go and check it out at the theater. I think you'll actually have fun. I did. -b.

    Yeah man, those were the good(er) old days. Good to see you on as well, and if I end up selling one I promise that you'll be the first to know! IIRC Gak found himself in some trouble on the Forums, but that was awhile ago I could be mistaking him for another member. Ha! I do the same, log on during work and during the 5-10 minutes per day I don't have someone at my desk, on my phone, in my Inbox or Skype re: something I really don't care about - I browse the forums. I log on during pre-order madness too but try not to post - especially if I get an order. Hell hath no fury like Macross fans that miss a preorder. -b.

    Wait. N-Y has customer service??? But yeah, I had to contact them once long ago about an order I had and even when it was literally to their financial benefit (they shipped me a slightly more expensive item accidentally) they didn't want to help. So I kept what they sent. *Shrugs* Yoooooooo, good to see you too sir Yeah man, I'm always here - daily. I just don't post much these days. I ended up with (3), (1) from Loopaza that opened up two nights ago and (2) from MyKombini. -b.

    ^ I also have upvotes I'm just hopeful for a fun movie - that's what Solo as a character has been all about anyway. A lovable anti-hero/bad boy that was a nice contrast to Luke's squeaky clean main protagonist. -b.

    Yep, no argument, I'd be beyond ready for my order to ship too. That said, I'm pretty sure that N-Y will come through, but as the case with a lot of their orders recently they're just suuuuppppppper slow. I had that with my 31J Kai (which took like 10 days after payment to ship an 'In Stock' item) and whatever I ordered with them before that. I went with MyKombini because I wanted to take advantage of not having to make full payment up front. -b.

    Agree about the color, it is striking. Too bad Bandai doesn't churn out DX Valkyrie repaints as much as they do Iron Man SH Figuarts figures. lol -b.

    It's. Just. Movie. Posters. Personally could care less on the modified posters, but you can't blame DISNEY, for being sensitive to gun violence and taking the opportunity to dodge any potential negative publicity. If you are in jeopardy of losing your NRA privileges for going to see Solo, then don't. It shouldn't be too much of an issue since the majority of the sentiment in this thread is OMFGTHEMOVIESUX. -b.

    ^these guys Was just asked to, and just paid the balance on my order from MyKombini (you could pay a 50% deposit at time of order). So for those still waiting on CDJ or N-Y I have to assume payment or shipping requests are right around the corner. -b.

    Missed it way back when at it's initial release. Every now and again I see one pop up on Mandarake for like twice the price. And that's for opened versions. I would have loved an E, which also left me wondering why Aoshima stopped with just the Enterprise D. I've seen/read only good things, so I guess if you can find one at a price you like buy it. -b.

    Well, crap. Thanks to you guys and another member I ordered one from Loopaza too. I have two on preorder but after all of the pictures posted the last couple of days decided I wanted another. And I've ordered from Loopaza before, shipping is the real killer since they're in Hong Kong but after the anticipated markups from N-Y, Mandarake, Jungle, Anime Export or anyone else that gets stock over and above any pre-orders or 2nd hand it's likely to be very much a wash in price. I'll probably sell something soon to help supplement the purchase. This hobby is absolutely destroying my budget and immediate financial goals...lol/sigh -b.
