Yikes! Hey, it's just the one store that's having "still" having issues - again the amount of and "loudness" of the complaints is just a byproduct of how many people on the boards use N-Y. That statement isn't meant to say the complaints are justified or not. Personally I struggle with which side I fall on, but I never had an order for the 31a with N-Y. Be patient or not to be patient. The only thing that makes me feel strongly is if it comes that N-Y cannot secure stock they should issue refunds, not store credit - but that is my personal preference. The only other store that's been discussed re: not having stock is MyKombini and they just gave us our money back (in YEN), I never contacted them about my order. Order placed. Deposit paid. Balance Requested - paid within 6 minutes. Anime-Export by all accounts came through with all orders as did Loopaza with the orders that opened up a few weeks ago, they were just ridiculously slow with shipping some orders. I'm assuming Big-in-Japan did as well, I don't recall reading any complaints about them and the 31a. -b.

Would also add that the lack of 31A's showing up at Mandarake also speaks to the scarcity of this release. Not sure about YJA because I don't frequent those auctions at all... -b.

Appreciate the update kajnrig. I'm watching MyKombini just to see if they re-list the 31a at a higher price, if I get really bored then I might be inclined to start stalking YJA to see if I can catch them there, but that's tinfoil hat level of conspiracy theory. I give them credit for giving me my money back, I'll give them my repeat business if there is a re-release and they list it without significantly increasing the price. I'm watching N-Y to see if they are able to secure enough stock and if not how they handle the monies that people have already paid. As much as I tend to dislike N-Y I have to give them credit as they've historically been pretty solid with TWE. Slow shipping times and our perception of their customer service are different issues. And Bandai...well, they've never really had much love for Macross (fans). I've been honestly surprised with how much they've invested since Macross Frontier, from DX Chogokin to HiMR. Anyway, as one fan to many others I just hope this cluster gets worked out in a favorable way. -b.

N-Y is dominating the discussion around whether or not people get their 31a's, and rightfully so since I believe the majority of our active members shop there, but I'm wondering if anyone actually got their order from MyKombini? Mine was cancelled the other day along with the other folks that posted and I'm curious more than anything if they were able to deliver on any of the orders they took. I'm also kind of in the the same head-space as Jenius, I'm hopeful that N-Y does get all stock and does fill all orders, but this entire release has been a cluster and it's hard to know what news/updates to trust. Either because retailers don't really know what Bandai is doing or they have some other motivation to not be fully transparent (don't want to/can't refund all orders, still trying to source enough stock, want to sell at a higher markup, genuinely believe they'll get all stock, etc). -b.

Very interesting since they haven't shipped my order and then cancelled some orders (at least 2 as reported on the Forums) for not having enough stock. But I'm not going to add any stress to myself and with that I'm just going to remain "patient", like someone else said I'm either going to get my 31a's or I'm going to get my money back. Surprised no one has posted the iconic panic button picture yet. Especially with the fever pitch re: orders from N-Y. -b.

So this will be my first Yamato/Arcadia v2 Milia. I never picked up a Max or Milia v2 when Yamato was around and I've skipped both "regular" versions. To be honest, I'd rather have the 31A. And for you, save your money! I wish I'd ordered from N-Y, I'm not opening my Milia from her box until I get Max and by then my PW shipping deadline will have long since passed. -b.

Man that sucks and I'm sorry... Did they cancel it after you reached out to them, or did you just get an email notification? Also, when did you place your order? Trying to figure out why MyKombini is cancelling orders since this is the 2nd report that we've gotten of them doing that. -b.

Hopefully, I may want an extra once I have one in -hand and like the release. Sen-ti-Nel's Re:Edit Iron Man stuff has been fairly easy to find after release. Only the exclusives were hard-ish to find at a reasonable price. I don't follow all of their other product lines so I can't really say for certainty, but some of their Dancouga stuff seems to be harder to find, but that's a very uneducated statement. -b.

Nice! Part of me wants to debate the "most" part of your statement and say the "incredibly ridiculously vocal minority" - but "most" plus the "gigantic grain" of salt is so much funnier (and probably truer as well). -b.

Just happy to see some progress pics. I like all of my Sen-ti-Nel Iron Man Re:Edit figures and that makes me confident in this release. I'm not a huge fan of that visor (would prefer that it be smooth), but it's not anything that will turn me off from enjoying the toy. -b.

Ah, gotcha. I got an order in back in November and I still have that fear - lol Yep, sometimes it's just luck (or lack thereof depending on your perspective). And buy moar toys. It's a prerequisite for being able to post in the Toy section. I stayed up late Friday and Saturday trying to find one, then every time I tossed and woke up Sunday I checked as well (kept my tablet in the bed). But as of my last search this morning around 7 AM eastern not one 31A has shown up on Mandarake yet. -b.

Hey guys, technically speaking you are right. Expedited shipping does not equate to expedited handling - BUT - there is a reasonable expectation of such. So much so that most stores don't differentiated between the two. This takes into account regular business hours or holidays and any other reason the business or store may be closed. Yoooooo, I'm in for an Isamu custom VF-31 AND coffee (or tea). I also want another 31J Kai, and had the chance about a month ago but I opted to save my $$$. And yes, I'm sure there are business reasons for some of the production decisions that Bandai makes, but I'm with you that some of them seem like real head-scratchers. Probably just a function of how haphazard this release has gone. Orders 'appear' to be getting shipped from some stores in no discernible manner, you have at least one instance of an order being cancelled, the 31A hasn't shown up on Mandarake and the prices for the item have gone up sky high on YJA. So beyond the anxiety of having spent at least $ 300 for one copy, even if you were to get a full refund it does not appear likely that you'd be able to get one at or around that price, at least no time soon. And I'm right there with you on going back to items currently in my collection, my 31J and VF-19 Advance have both been getting a lot of attention pending what I hope is the arrival of my 31A's. -b.

Speaking for myself, it's not the instant gratification mentality, it's that if we (or you) pay for EMS or other type of expedited shipping if it takes the seller takes an inordinate amount of time (like 8-11 days) then we really are paying a premium price for a service we're not getting. That's all. -b.
