  1. The top shouldn't affect the Titanium finish at all. Bandai never stops production of their gundam kits. I would order it from HLJ. If not it stock, they will restock. I've done this with several of their gundam kits. They've even rstocked some that were limited production release ( RG unicrorn with unicorn cover).
  2. Hello Dero, That is another kit in my backlog. I may build the titanium finish RX-93 over the Christmas break. It a toss up between it and the Titanium finish Banshee. I love to snap build a MG kit over the break while away from home. To answer your question about decals. If you place waterslide decals on any kit, be it titanium finish or not, it needs to be sealed with a top coat. The top coat will protect them over time. Non sealed decals will chip and flake off over time if touched too much. For non titanium finish painted models, it's recommended you gloss coat them before applying the decals. The gloss coat provides a smooth surface for the decals to easily adhere to. The gloss coat also makes it much easier to manipulate the decal onto the surface it's applied to. ( Yes it should be gloss. Flat coats create a rough texture so not recommended.) The titanium finish kits already have a smooth surface, so there is no real need to gloss coat them before applying decals. I would use just Mark setter and Softner to adhere. Since the RX-93 is mainly white, I don't think the top coat over the finish will be too noticeable. Now the Gold Plated Phenex, That may be another story, but I chose not to decal that kit. The only other drawback about the titanium, gold plated or special coated kits is that most of them aren't undergated. So you will need a paint marker to cover up gate marks. I've built both the MG Phenex and the titanium MG Unicorn and I covered up the gate marks with gundam markers. They aren't that noticeable unless you are looking to find them.
  3. Haven' built mine yet, it's in the backlog. I did However build the MG Nu gundam and aside from the poor connectors on the fin funnels I think it's a great kit.
  4. Very Nice!! You sir have very good taste in MG's. Both the Hi V and Szabi are in my future builds Queue. I just snapped together the MG destiny and finished off my MG Sinanju and PG Strike.
  5. RG Unicorn is in stock at hlj. I May have to create a PW shipment!
  6. Yeah, I so need an updated Storm. I hope we get the rest of 90's X-force in the Despoil legends line.
  7. Your not the only one. I have The X-force version and I really want to see an updated version on the Ms Marvel buck.
  8. Nice. I was able to get Cyclops and Collosus from Hasbrotoyshop. I have the dark phoenix and Cyclops two pack shipping from the Toys R US webstore.
  9. Saw it last night as well and loved it as well. DC has a surefire hit with this one. Gal Gadot was awesome as a lead, she's going to hear crickets from her doubters.
  10. I have sunsurge and this is definitely an improvement. The bot proportions look fantastic. I also like how the neck/ head are attached to the body and the feet no longer suffer from the duck feet like sunsurge.
  11. I read all of the books and definitely looking forward to this. Elba and Matt McC will bring it. The only part of the books that didn't work for me was the fourth wall stuff. But other than that an entertaining read.
  12. My 3 Favorite Macross Toys: 1. Arcadia VF-0D/0S: Looks great in all three modes, an interesting design that doesn't need extra packs, armor etc to elicit attention. 2. Arcadia/Yamato VF-1 series: What hasn't been said about this toy. Simple design, fun to transform and handle. A true masterpiece in engineering. Simply one of the best modern toys to ever be released. The Un assembled kits were underappreciated. A true game changer. My favorites being the VF-0D and the TV Fokker VF-1S. 3. Bandai VF-31F: The pinnacle of the DX line. Loads of detail, articulation out of this world for a transforming Macross toy. Bandai has finally realized their potential with the DX line. Honorable mentions: Yamato 1/48 series: I still have most of these displayed in my cabinets. So Menacing! Bandai Yf-19 Advance and Arcadia Y-19 a virtual tie. My least Favorite Macros toys: 1. Yamato Koenig Monster: How big is too big? Well this is it. Not to mention floppy 2. Yamato 1/72 VF-11: The hips were reminiscent of the Gakken Mislead ride armor. Plastic instead of Metal= breakage 3. Bandai V1 VF-25 series: Poor proportions, weak execution. Only looks good in fighter mode, and it suffers from the weak shield connection.
  13. Noel is correct the supplied stickers don't require Mark setter. They aren't water slides. I apply mine and normally just trim the down before applying. They stick relatively well.
  14. Derek, Mine came out with a model parts separator. The pliers likely loosened it. I did have one small spot were the glue remained in the barrel. I'll likely never use the silencer so not too concerned about. Glade you are liking it. I think it's another solid release from Takara. It really captures the spirit of Megatron like no other release of him.
