Dang you hiss tank I want to see these new figures

like Bri said when you have mulitple contractors and even government entities needing to access the data on a daily basis they are usually kept on a machine that is online but secured requiring passwords and other authentication. Which, unfortunately can be hacked if people don't protect their passwords. Usually though an individual will only have access to certain folders though on that web drive, so whoever's acct got hacked had, and I do me had as in no longer has, access to the JSF folders.

Macross TV vs. Macross F in Macross Crusade TCG
Knight26 replied to veffidas's topic in Movies and TV Series
ugh I hate TCGs -
Hmm, those might not be winglets per-se in the traditional fashion. Those might infact be a form of vortex generator or laminar flow control system, something the likes of which was proposed for the production F-23. And that is from looking at drawings and talking to someone who worked that program, and helped to flight test that bird. He knows some seriously cool stuff about that bird that would blow your mind. That plane was even more advanced then we realized and more stuff was planned for it too.

Post the pics man, most of us don't have hisstank accounts

My boys watch Macross every once in a while and I let them play with my Mac-7 toys, unfortunately the Mac7 toys did not survive, now I am just trying to find an inexpensive robust VF toy for them to play with

Terminator Salvation, colon, Really Long Movie Title
Knight26 replied to bsu legato's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I love the A-10 toy, and want it, that is about the only one I am interested in, maybe the HK -
Man there were a lot of holes left in that finale. One of the biggest though, IMHO, why in the world would the resistance follow this John Conner? THink about it, some naked 16 year old kid shows up and you're automatically suppossed to start following him, why, what makes him so special? Is it his knowledge of the terminator tech, what? If there is another season or a wrap up tele-movie they will have to jump through a lot of hoops to correct the errors. Also, where was skynet this whole time? And, how was weaver able to jump forward in time when she is not living tissues, I always figured that when previous T-1000s were sent back that they were wrapped in T-888 pseudoskin in order to make it possible, but that ending through that out. Also, did anyone notice how the dialog when John was "inspecting" Cameron's power supply, if listened to with no visuals was quiet close to what one would here in a sex scene? I thought that that was funny myself. Now if you excuse me I see a mack truck driving right towards the plot hole I'm standing in front of.

Dollhouse (new series by Joss Whedon)
Knight26 replied to sharky's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I think that that goes along with my personnal theory. I think that upload boy is actually a doll, he was considered not attractive enough to placed in active "Active" status so instead they uploaded the mind of the guy who developed the chair technology into him, possibly keeping his original personnality. Combine this with the statement that there are multiple Dollhouses around the world and you could have several of him running around, same knowledge, maybe slightly different personnalities in different bodies. I also think that Dr Saunders is an Active, probably one who was injured by Alpha during his escape, and because of her injuries they just decided to upload the mind of the previous doctor into her, maybe they downloaded her right before she died to be uploaded again later. Think about it, the technology would allow you to basically "learn" an entire college education in the time it takes to upload, heck I would rather pay for that to get my masters then trudge through another two years of school work. -
Ok, that is just epic cool. How hard is it to put a plane into this sim? I ask because I have so many of mine designed, and woudl love to simplify and thrown them in to fly.

Ok, those specs make a bit more sense, now you are just talking something the size of a Super Star Destroyer, which while still insanely huge makes more sense. Check out the 10x page on http://www.merzo.net/ and see how the Macross sizes up to an SSD. As for the 110 mile long space platform, that sounds ok, large yes, but for something that doesn't move that is ok.

You could always PM the pics of your wife to others that you trust and gauge their reaction, she might be open to that. If she gets enough positive comments she might then allow you to post them openly.

I was just pointing out, like most of us here, how rediculous this design is. It is far too huge to be practical for a human scale operator, and combine that with the fact that he seems to want to transform it takes it even beyond rediculous. As SMC said even 20 KM is pushing it. Check out www.wcnews.com they recently posted a pic comparing the two dreadnaughts seen in the Wing Commander Franchise. The Terran Dreadnaught was alittle over a kilometer long, something like the size of the Macross, while the Kilrathi Dreadnaught, from official sources, is something like 22Km long. Just look at the size difference and how rediculous the dreadnaught looks as a result.

Much nicer on the Misa, looks much closer to the character, I think it is lack of shading that is keeping if from looking 100% like her. I still see a little bit of Susan Sarandon in her, but not as much, not that is a bad thing mind you, SS is still a very lovely woman, quite the Cougar.

Well hopefully when it comes to the F-22 they will have learned their lesson and won't destroy the tooling outright. ANother thing to consider is that this might not be the death kneal of the F-22. What it could lead to is (not trying to be political) the senators from the various states where components of the F-22 are built pushing to release the ban on exporting the F-22. At that point you will probably see slightly stripped down, slightly less stealthy models of the F-22 going out to friendly nations. Let's face it an Israeli F-22 will need to be more robust for the environment, so a few changes to the design are inevitable. If, after the gates are openned to allow for F-22 export, that will keep the lines open, even if only doing small unit production, and will allow for the possibility of producing new F-22s later. Also, remember at this point Gates' recommendations are just that, recommendations, and still need to be ratified by congress.

Pretty darn close, but her face it bothering me, almost looks like your crossed Misa with Susan Sarandon for some reason, I think it must be the width of the face and placement of the eyes.
-
Um, hmmm, Engineering mind working on this, specs make no sense, design far too large and ambitious, someone's been reading too much SW EU comics and books, great you broke my brain, ooh pretty colors.

Ripped off design 1 and Ripped off design 2

Full Metal Panic gets Live Action Movie
Knight26 replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
SO mister gay eyes is going to be in it huh, well can't say I ever watched the series, but I can't imagine that high school musical dork being in anything good... -
They don't want C-17s, but they do need more C-17s to replace the C-5.

Dollhouse (new series by Joss Whedon)
Knight26 replied to sharky's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
My personnal theory is that most of the employees of the Dollhouse are/were actives. The doctor is a prime suspect for me, and might be a former doll, but I definitely think that Topher is an active and doesn't know it, he is too young to have developed that system IMHO. I think the only people that might not be actives are the handlers, but even some of them might be ex-convicts or soldiers who are turned into dolls to act as handlers. Anyway, that's just a theory I have. -
I'd hit that Misa in a heart beat if I were single

this thread needs pictures

Very nicely done, keep it up

A couple more comments, are they just making out naked at this point? If so, then the positioning might be ok, otherwise, Hikaru's back needs to be at more of an angle and Misa's legs should be openned more, possibly a little knees up. Right now they just look like two GI Joe figures lying on each other.
