So I generated yet another ticket with Nin Nin for updates as their "move" should supposedly be completed by now today being the 15th. I am sorry to inform you that the following is the reply received; Thank you for contacting Nin-Nin Game! We hope this message finds you well! I have checked your order and unfortunately, the move is still ongoing. We are also receiving incoming delayed shipments from our suppliers therefore we are still sorting our inventory. To elaborate further, we are a small team with limited office and warehouse space, and our items are also located in our supplier's warehouses due to our limited space. When an order is made, we will contact our supplier to have the items sent to our primary warehouse so we could have our logistics team work on it! Most delays on a customer's orders are caused by our previous situation and while we could not do anything but wait for our suppliers and the situation to get better, especially with the delays caused by this pandemic situation. Therefore, we are moving the whole inventory and will be receiving more from our suppliers later, so we will obviously need time to sort everything in place for a better operations in the future. At the moment we are expecting to finish the move within two weeks. We would appreciate your patience and please bear with us as our team are finishing the move. If you would like to cancel your order instead, we could help you to refund via voucher with full purchase value + ¥1000 included. Let us know what you would think and we will be waiting for your response! Sick and tired of their lame excuses, and they're offering me a voucher?..like I will ever shop there again. I am disputing it right now on Paypal for a full refund.

I posted here of my communications with Nin Nin. I did reach out to them after generating a ticket and a rep replied they would ship by the end of next week, which is this week and as of Thursday night right now, no updates..They better ship my stuff soon with the big move supposedly complete by now. My 6 month deadline with Paypal is like 10 days from now, I will initiate Paypal dispute unless I hear from them by early next week.😡

Frustrating. My order with nin nin has been in 'preparation in progress' since Monday, does not seem to move at all. Don't think I'll ever buy from them again.☹️

Hey @peter, it's cool how you photographed the unboxing, and yes I get a kick out of cutting into that seal ever so carefully too. How are things in BC - Man I miss it out there as I am from Vancouver. Moved to Ontario for work & family some years ago.. Used to get my toys quicker 'cause it's closer to Japan too!

Yup, they closed down my ticket/inquiry real fast too, like shut it you know what's good for you. That's fine. After seeing everyone else's photos of the toy I feel like I own one already.

Updates from Nin Nin. Supposedly they are receiving units from their supplier by the end of next week, at least this was the response after generating a ticket!?

Anyone ordered a combo set from Nin Nin? - Getting a bit anxious because I have not received any updates from them since the release on 25th but they seem to be still taking orders..

Put me down for a few sets! I can't use Bandai stand in battroid mode 'cause it makes it too tall for detolf. Besides it is damn ugly and takes up lots of space. I'm interested!

Do y'all think Bandai has somehow incorporated the "updates" on this 1J? - such as nosecone hinge with a lip, etc.. Personally I like the folding hatch on the D.

Hi @Marauder, if using Kiki, put it on and leave it for a couple of days to cure. It will not seize up as the instructions says. This stuff is quite thin to fill a considerable gap (in this case between the metal parts vs plastic) and you may need multiple applications to achieve a certain resistance in the joint. Well what can I say about Bandai’s lack of QC. Seems to me they send all the defective Valks to Canada, eh.😆

I had pretty much the exact same issue on Hikaru 1S except mine was loose when the right foot is opened up in battroid/gerwalk mode. Turned out it is the roll pin not sitting flush in the groove, a manufacturer defect. Try grabbing the part that is loose and move it side to side, you may find some play where it shouldn’t. I just ended up applying some of that Kiki stuff in between which made it a bit tighter but we all know it’s only a temporary fix.

That sounds like fun. The idea occurred to me too but I don't think it is easy to remove the canopy. - there's a top piece holding down the hinge towards the back, and most likely it's superglued on. You could however mask around the canopy and have a go at it.

I sincerely hope Japan Post resumes EMS service to Canada becuase I am tired of being ripped off in fees by DHL. For every item they’ve been charging me $19.99 processing fee on top of 13% duties.😱 By the way anyone having paint issues with your 1D? On mine the orange paint on the backpack isn’t great..looks like someone touched it up but left a bad brush marks..

Sorry to see another member with a broken toy due to QC issue. Sadly enough, I have been a victim of this as well having to buy the same toy twice for replacement.😔
