I have a term paper on reducing the time spent performing Poisson surface reconstruction in Microsoft's free-viewpoint video production pipeline that is due at 11:59pm on December 3rd. So, will I likely be awake during pre-order madness? You bet I will be! Will I be ordered the VF-1D? I'll likely order 2!

I have to admit, as nice as the DX Chogokin YF-19 is.... I sort of like my Arcadia slightly more. Mostly, it is because the DX's fold drive does not glow, and I think the back foot is too short. And I am not a fan of the New Edwards base initials painted on the DX's wing. I ordered 2 of the DX YF-19's, mostly because I was afraid of having a vendor not being able to pull through, ala Nippon-Yassan's VF-31 debacle. So, I am very happy to have sold off my spare to @claude grant. If not for the arm cannon the DX has, I'd be tempted to sell off my remaining one. Weird, huh? Anyways... Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I have a term paper on making the Poisson surface reconstruction phase of free-viewpoint video creation faster that I need to start writing.... and I am entrenched in writer's block. *SIGH*

Don't forget to swap out the nose cone. The 001 on the nose cone in your picture would probably not be the appropriate designation for a VF-1A. -

Can VF-1S DYRL Max be duplicated by using a VF-1A DYRL Max and swapping out the wings and nose cone with those from a VF-1S DYRL Roy or Hikaru? Or are there additional differences? Also, Yamato/Arcadia's box missiles are too big, compared to the size of the valkyrie...

I know.... but technically speaking, I have never seen the Macross 7 OAV episode that showed off Gamlin's VF-22, or the VF-19P. Though, admittedly, I am also missing the VF-11C, which I know I have seen in the Macross 7 TV series.

As much as I would love for that to be true, I very much doubt it. He's a "normal". He does not know anything about Macross, yet alone anime. He is more interested in sports and cars, like Tesla or Porsche. Personally, I prefer riding in my 2006 Honda CR-V. I think his cars are too flashy and I'd be too paranoid about getting a scratch on them.

Congratulations to everyone who got a VF-4 pre-order in. Looks like PO madness was real. this time. I unfortunately missed out. My fiance had me tied down to the bed last night, so I was unable to go online. Hopefully the VF-4 will be easy for me to get upon release.

I got 8 of those stands for $27 from an eBay "Buy It Now" listing. (technically, the price was for 6, but the seller threw in 2 more for free.) I am also using these stands to hold up the YF-21 and VF-11B. Overall. I am pretty happy with that purchase.

Are you using a Tamashii stand to hold the VF-11 up? How does that work?
