  1. I got one, though I'm not counting on them fulfilling it. I have 2 cheaper ones ordered via Amazon Japan (¥40,891 including shipping).
  2. Somehow my VF-0D, arriving by ferry, has entered the USA via Des Moines Iowa. I live in California.
  3. Y'all wondering when you'll see Kakizaki. I'm over here still waiting on a HMR VF-4.
  4. Just got shipping notification from ThreeZero.
  5. For FJ, I only ever use the basic plan when it's an item direct from a trusted retailer like P-Bandai or Arcadia's website. Anything else, especially anything off Yahoo Japan Auctions, gets the protection plan.
  6. Interesting, and tempting. Loved the series/OVA. Just not sure yet if I want to drop $200 on it.
  7. Well, temperature is an accelerant for just about every chemical reaction. So keeping them cool will help. Also removing other possibly contributing factors (like oxygen, UV light, humidity, skin oils) will at least keep the process from accelerating. Even if yellowing is inevitable, you can still ameliorate the degree of yellowing.
  8. Pretty sure you can still order via a proxy as needed. I've got mine coming through FromJapan. https://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000147800/ still has slots open for second shipment (January).
  9. My place is a startup (was a startup, we're in the black this year), my employee number is in the low single digits. So very glad I stayed out of management. I still get to design and assemble things, rather than managing people (which I'm terrible at). The current one is a large factory tool that a customer wants designed to their specifications. Which I get to do a ground-up design on the hardware aspect of, including the methodology. Much more enjoyable being at the top of the "worker" level, rather than spending my time telling other people what to do.
  10. No Titanium, but we do have some 3D printed sintered Tungsten parts we use for shielding, since I work with X-ray equipment. Though for the most part I'm just using PLA and the 18" x 18" x 12" printer that we bought for making in-house parts. It sits next to my desk. Very nice when I have to turn around brackets for holding whatever the applications team found this week they want to shove into our equipment.
  11. Yeah, designing for CNC and designing for Print, or for Injection Molding are all totally different. It always seems to confuse some of the people at my company how I can 3D print something for them the next day, or it can take a week just to get it drawn up and ordered from a machine shop. Plus 3 weeks delivery time.
  12. It'll be a while, since I'm not building it as they arrive (don't have the space to dedicate to a partial project for several years). Pulled out, transformed, and posed my Kakizaki. I don't remember the joints on the previous DX VF-1 figures being this stiff. Which is a good thing.
  13. A few boxes showed up today. 2 from Amazon Japan (separate orders), plus almost my entire HLJ private warehouse, across two more boxes.
  14. Compared to this, the 31a event was way better. Their communication may have sucked, but at least they delivered. Eventually. Now they're just taking people's money and only giving them back store credit because they overcommitted.
  15. I honestly don't notice unless someone points it out.
  16. HG GM Cannon: https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2487430001001 RG Sword Impulse: https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2526871001001 HG Try Age: https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2536551001001 MG Stormbringer FA / GM Turbulance: https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2536554001001 HG GUNDAM TR-1 [HAZE’N-THLEY RAH Ⅱ]: https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2543885001001 If I didn't already have an order for the MG via proxy I'd grab one. Wasn't sure if it would end up on the US site or not.
  17. Or you're working from home, and haven't gone outside for a few weeks...
  18. Man those Tomahawks look janky, especially the center and 2nd from the left.
  19. No idea. I believe the typical range is 5000K-6500K for Daylight. 4000K would be at the top end of Bright White/Cool White. [edit] After looking, it appears there are some LEDs that will produce Vitamin D. They do so by emitting in the UV band. So avoid those.
  20. I cannot recommend daylight spectrum LEDs enough. All your figures will look better, and no yellowing.
  21. Can also use them on an HMR Glaug to make it Kamjin's?
  22. Well, ordered a bottle. Specifically for my VF-27 Renewal, as that thing is the floppiest of messes.
  23. Not too surprised that the price went up. Let's not forget how much the Yamato SDF-1 was going for before the Arcadia releases.
  24. I'll probably end up dumping my 5700 XT for a 3060 or 3070. Most of the driver issues are fixed, but I still can't output sound over the HDMI without occasional hideously bad static issues that need a reboot to fix. The whole experience soured me to AMD cards, after giving them a chance this time around. Plus my display has g-sync.
