    Yup, got mine through them, notification received on July 15th, and it's already sitting on my table for a while now.

    Yeah, that's the Bandai DX valkyrie stand, included with just about all their valks (some of the Frontier ones came with SMS bases rather than Hex-shaped bases).

    I had originally gotten it via website sub, but I switched to HLJ, as it was considerably cheaper. No issues with my credit card initially at least (travel card from Capital One).

    I already have a 19 and 21, with the add-on sets. Picked them up a while back, was just missing the 11.

    Pilot figure was a subscription exclusive IIRC, so you won't get it unless you buy the right edition with the subscription bonus. They're released roughly every 2 weeks, #27 just hit my private warehouse last night.

    Mine shipped 6/29, left port 7/1, and no update yet. The previous thing I had shipped Ferry (from Tenso) just showed up a few days ago after a little over 2months. So I'm expecting it to hit within the next month or so.

    Picked up a couple things from Mandarake. Shipping cost more than the items did... Yamato GNU-Dou VF-11 (slightly grubby Weathered version) Bandai Macross Solid Archive gacha set I have a weakness for Macross Valkyrie gacha, and these looked like interesting little fixed-pose action scene statuettes.

    Odd, I haven't actually had any issues (outside of pre-order madness) with HLJ's website. Using chrome/firefox on windows 7/10, chrome on android phone, and safari on OSX. Won't ever keep me logged in, but I'm not sure if that's intended or not.

    Clarification, the newer PF 0D does not have these issues. Only the original release does.

    Yeah, for PF HLJ doesn't mark down, at all. I was talking about normal Arcadia releases.

    Sometimes, usually they'll sell at or a bit below MSRP (taking off the 10% tax). Markdowns seem more likely to happen with Arcadia valks than Bandai DX Chogokins.

    So, ordering via FromJapan you will have to pay: Service fee. Either ¥300 for basic, or ¥700 if you want "protection", I.E. they will help if the item isn't as described. Latter mostly for auctions. Domestic Shipping International Shipping Prices you pay will include Japanese domestic tax (10%, included in MSRP), HLJ and such don't charge this tax as they sell to foreigners

    Probably be available at and after release for MSRP, same as all the other Arcadia releases. Might even go on sale, though I somewhat doubt it (only some of the VF-1 figures really went on sale).

    Well, most places only make you pay at release, and the difference between pre-order and aftermarket costs are usually $100+. So it's easy money for scalpers, with no up-front costs. Heck, they can scalp it for an up-front cost now, and have an interest free $300 now, that they need to pay $200 to cover later.

    He means that pre-orders at MSRP usually sell out within minutes at any given retailer, if not seconds. Also pre-orders go up at 3am EST, midnight PST. Personally I've gotten every Bandai release that's come out since I started collecting at MSRP, but that's not a common experience.

    Reissue chances? Possible, but unlikely. The only one I see as possible is a VF-1J re-relase for the Armor, probably a "grey goggle" release, possibly as a gift pack with the armor. Planned variants? Only shown ones that haven't been up for pre-order yet are Hikaru/Kakizaki TV VF-1A. Presumably we may get full Skull/Vermillion squads for both TV and SDFM, due to included inserts for the TV and SDFM FAST packs.

    Just copy the web address of the Arcadia page for ordering, and paste it into the search bar on your proxy of choice (FromJapan, DeJapan, Buyee, etc...)

    Eh, it works out closer to $120, when I consider that the pre-order from Amazon Japan is ¥33,011 shipped, whereas ordering the PF from Arcadia thru a proxy (or via Tenso) is ¥38,280 before proxy fees or domestic/international shipping. I'd go with a chronological display of Fighter mode, and the only YF models I'd include would be the ones that varied significantly from the production version (so just the YF-19).

    The PF looks good and all, even looks like they did a nice job on the panel lining. That said, I'm not in love with the VF-4 enough to shell an additional $120 (incl shipping), plus proxy fees, to go for the PF this time around.

    Yuuuuup. Buy NY, they charge the same as everyone else, more for shipping, and good luck getting your stuff shipped out.

    Not this time, looks like. ¥29,260 at Nippon Yasan That's a hard pass from me, purchasing from NY that is.
