    Well, I've been meaning to for a while, but just put in for collection coverage. I think I've got enough figures and such it's worthwhile at this point.

    That is close to the original price, Premium Finish editions are a bit more expensive than normal Arcadias, and normal Arcadias are a bit more expensive than DX Chogokins. The normal VF-4 edition is almost ¥30,000

    Yup. I have 3 DX Roys, one is loose to the point where the legs splay out on their own, and the other two are loose as well, but tight enough they can at least hold a pose.

    I have a V1 VF-25F super boxed set that I picked up heavily used from Mandarake several years ago, actually is still the original blue-grey shade they made it in, despite being on display since I got it. I suspect the plastic quality was a bit better on the super pack box set reissues.

    Because the VF-1J without the GPB didn't have a grey visor.

    They might do a reissue with the visor painted grey to go with the GBP, which would look very odd without.

    Is there any point to having PayPal as an extra layer? Never had any real issue doing chargebacks through my credit cards directly.

    In my case I got a card w/o currency conversion fees years ago, so I do all my Yen buying with it. 3% savings adds up over a while. Especially when buying things that are like ¥25,000-¥30,000 shipped.

    I charged through my credit card and got my refund earlier today (notification from my credit card). Honestly, I don't see any point in paying through paypal. Credit cards have a better/longer claim policy, plus equivalent of better currency exchange fees. Plus you get the money all the way back.

    Personally I suggest superglue as a bandaid. I keep a bottle around for just that while I'm building models.

    Hard to say, but probably not the best time to sell them. The VF-0D just had a recent release, with many issues on the first release fixed, plus a premium weathered finish. The VF-4 is getting a release in a couple months.

    I told people about FromJapan, and now I can't use them anymore as everyone else is. My backup is staying low-key.

    Just got a cancellation/failure email from FromJapan. Fortunately my other proxy came through, though.

    Nice, just got an email from one of my proxies they managed to order 2 for me. Still waiting on the other proxy, but not super hopeful about that one.

    ¥3300 higher. ¥19,800 (18,000+10%) vs ¥23,100 (21,000+10%). Fan racer is a great addition, but I am a bit disappointed that it comes with so many DYRL-style hands, and so few SDFM style hands.

    Got a Christmas surprise, and my 4x TV Supers showed up today, rather than the estimated delivery on Monday. Still waiting to see if either of my proxy orders went through for the VF-1D.

    Only if you can arrange yourself a genuine Japanese phone number to register with, the one Tenso gives is already registered to a P-Bandai account, and cannot be reused.

    FYI, FromJapan (and other proxies I've used) will refund immediately if they can't put in an order for you. You can order P-Bandai stuff from them, but since it's a strict limit of 6 per address/phone number, they're limited in how many orders they can put in.
