    The weathered looks amazing for the VF-0D, with the blue. Not sure how good that type of weathering would look for the VF-0S Roy. The 0A could work with the grey paint though.

    I'm hoping the back-end of the booster fits over the three wing sections and the front locks into the front of the exposed cross-section. Really wish they don't just cheat with a clear plastic bracket.

    Wing root certainly seems to jut forwards a bit, also looks like the wing might be bent, but it's hard to say from only the single angle.

    I prefer these: https://www.hlj.com/gundam-marker-extra-thin-type-gray-for-panel-lines-gnzgm302p Usually called "extra thin" or "pour type" markers. They work via capillary action and will spread down crevices and lines on their own. Requires less tracing and less cleanup, they can also get into crevices where even fine-tips won't fit.

    So I may have impulse purchased nearly 30lbs of LEGOs.

    They were offering 20% off one entire order (no limitations, even pre-orders) if you shipped an item from a list within a certain time period. I ended up ordering a hobby magazine, and used the 20% off coupon for A bit over $200 in discount on an order including the PF YF-19.

    Cheapest is probably direct from Arcadia through a proxy, or Anime Export. if you took advantage of the HLJ offer a while ago for a 20% off coupon they’re also an option, but otherwise they’re up charging too much.

    It's really the desdroids and zentradi mecha that sell it. The VF-1 figures are nice, and the VF-2 and VF-4 are impressive, but the more impressive the transforming figures get, the closer they start costing to the Arcadia and DX lines.

    I try not to think of how much my Macross collection cost/is worth. Well, at least if I suddenly need a new car I have options.

    Pay on release, ability to combine shipping with other HLJ purchases (and shipping fees make that very worthwhile these days), and the availability of surface shipping. Probably break-even at best though, given the upcharge at HLJ.

    Yup, price comes down a smidge if you buy in Yen using a card with free currency conversion. In my case I blew a 20% off coupon on it, brought it right around the Arcadia webstore price.

    I've always wanted one of those huge ridiculous Star Wars ELGO sets. Missed the millennium falcon and the death star, figured this was probably my last shot at one not from the prequels/sequels.
