    For next time you can also arrange for the post office to hold your mail while you're on vacation (at least in the US, not sure what country you're in).

    I thought I'd spotted 3 versions. DVD, Blueray, and the Amazon Special Version (or something). I did note it said on both the DVD and Blueray that they included English subtitles.

    It's really amazing how much detail is hiding in that thing, waiting for a bit of lining to make it show up.

    I think it's a combination of a lot of things, each of which make it more desirable. VF-31 being arguably the best transforming VF Bandai makes. VF-31a having a delta wing like the YF-30 and VF-0D, which seems to be more popular than the forward sweep of the other 31s. VF-31a being a more realistic blue-grey color than the less well received Delta squad paintjobs. Cannon Fodder machines people generally buy more of. Missiles rather than drones in the legs (even though it still has the stupid drone charger). The whole scarcity issue with unfilled orders.

    Datamining? That's a hot field, good one to get into. That or machine learning (there's a bit of overlap as I understand it).

    My ebay seller finally shipped out earlier this week, I'm guessing was one of the people who got alongside the Taobao buyers.

    Based on the difference in shade on the tail-fin hinges, I'm going to say it's probably yellowed some.

    Tornado, Super Pack, and Armored pack are just 3 different sets of attachments used at various parts in the series. Super pack is some boosters and missiles. Tornado is bigger boosters, missiles and a big pair of guns. Armored is even larger boosters, even more missiles, those two ball-gun things, what appears to be an auxiliary radar dish on the back, and more general coverage. In the series the supers appeared first, then the tornado pack (Alto and Michael only), and then the armored pack (Also and Ozma only).

    Bandai's new action bases 4 and 5 have 5mm peg attachments as well. They run around $4-$5 each, but have to be assembled.

    At this point I've gotten one used from Mandarake, and then one each on order from NY and ebay. Never figured that NY would be the last to show. Also never figured that 33k for a used newly released valk would be such a good deal...

    Yeah, I pre-ordered through ebay with a 20% off coupon, ended up similar price to a Nippon Yasan pre-order.

    My ebay seller finally shipped my 31a out, ought to arrive next week. At this point I'm not sure if I even want to open it, with them going for almost $600 now. Maybe I'll just try and trade for a VF-0D, or a VF-11 to round out my Macross Plus collection.

    I just spent about $100 to get $800 worth of HLJ private warehouse shipped to me (in the south bay). I wouldn't worry about it.

    I've had it take as long as 4-5 weeks, 2 at the fastest, usually around 3. To Northern California.
