  1. 1/3000 or 1/2500 would be fine. Then redo the Quarter in the same scale.
  2. I like those wings better than the final results, too. Would prefer those to both the VF-19F/S wings and the original YF-19/VF-19A wings. Very YF-23'ish.
  3. Looks like Macross 23 (I think) left Eden in the general direction that Megaroad 1 went. Either one could have turned though, like Megaroad 4 before getting to New Eden, off of the map we saw in MacF...
  4. TTL was 86400, which is 24 hours for the DNS change to propagate through the Internet. Then you'd have had caching. I didn't realize there was so much here. You guys are saying you have all of this already archived? I'ma about to let loose the dogs of wget.
  5. Domain expired on the 13th. Set your host file or have an A-record put into your local DNS server (if applicable) to 66.49.161.243 and it will work. Just tested it and I can browse the whole site.
  6. Err... a toy analogue then. Above and beyond DX as PG is from MG.
  7. I wish they would do this. More the former than the latter, but anything. This and enemy mecha, especially battlepods/Regult, and Invid.
  8. ROFL, they sound like the aliens from the Star Trek pilot: The Cage.
  9. I just want Yamato to use the DYRL design and paint it green.
  10. I'd probably get one. Not a big fan and definitely underwhelmed by it's non-fighter modes.
  11. Anyone try putting in a host file entry?
  12. Surprised there's no torrent of this out there yet. Anyone got a synopsis? I was expecting the first post to have a FAQ. Is this supposed to be like a DYRL-style movie in a movie treatment or more similar to the simplification that Macross Plus got with it's movie edition? Wiki says there's a second movie coming, too.... that makes me think of an OOU nod to DYRL and Macross II.
  13. One thing I was hoping Blu-ray might do (but hasn't yet) is deliver a load of standard def on a single BD. Imagine the entire SDF series on a single BD50. Gonna start a new PC build and I'm thinking I'm gonna do TWO BD drives. One BD-ROM and the second a 6x or 8x (if they're out yet) dual layer BD burner. Guess I'ma have to do it myself. All of the LOTR EE's on a single BD and all 6 Star Wars movies on a single BD.
  14. Not anymore, huh? I woulda grabbed it if I saw this last night.
  15. I saw this in person at Frank & Sons where a guy had it on display. It's gigantic! The spots actually weren't that bad. For the $200 asking price, not too bad. The size was the main thing keeping me from getting it.lol nowhere to put anything this massive.
  16. There's also: http://www.new-un-spacy.com/macross7/vf-17...kpitforward.gif http://www.new-un-spacy.com/macross7/vf-17...pitbackward.gif
  17. Heres another shot from the last Ep (49), when Gamlin and Mylene switch to a Jamming Bird from Gamlin's VF-17S
  18. Hmm... I really wish Bandai would do a Macross Perfect Grade series.
  19. It's cause of the heat shield. Can't find the Heat Shield for my CF. so I guess it's stuck in gerwalk or fighter. No battroid for yu0! I do like it still, even if the color is lighter than I prefer. Unfortunately v2 1/60 has lost me since they did the 1A (prefer the shade but not the contrast with my v1) and 1J in different shades. Can anyone put up a pic comparing the new 1J with the old CF1A (non-TRU)?
  20. Almost looks like the arched back is gone is fighter. Almost. Still would like to see another run of the regular Shadow with their "improvements"
  21. I dunno... it seems like controlled protoculture and SA giants would behave much like the Varauta pilots did: like biological robots and would be even MORE cultureless than the Zentraedi (who at least exhibited individuality - see Kamjin for the most extreme example). Everyone Gigil or Geperenich ever communicate with always speak in the same monotone and dont' even respond to being attacked by their superiors. Let's speculate: Zents might have numbers, but any time they fight the Protodevlin forces, they either disappear (joining the enemy) or are annihilated (they'd either be fighting useless attrition battles against controlled giants, get taken over or wiped out pretty quick either by a tiny ball of light (Gavil or Sivil), by a great big one (Guravil, or by some plain weird ones (Gigil, Valgo, Gorm/Zomd, much less Geperenich). The Anima Spiritia succeed in imprisoning the 7 Protodevlin in stasis/sleep. At some point, either Zent or SA (or both) wipe them out in the aftermath (since Exedol doesn't know anything about Anima Spiritia), Zent finally get the upper hand and/or turn the tide. I imagine at first, they continue to behave like the Varauta do during M7... then some either come to their senses or the brain control slowly wears off but they continue to get attacked by the Zents so have to fight a 'real' war, just for survival if nothing else.
  22. yeah, you fockers get it right! Probably heresy, but I always preferred the TV flight suits to the silly samurai shoulder DYRL ones.
  23. I've been itching to get the Armored Ozma... is it a good buy or is there a chance of an improved one coming out with the movie?
  24. A bit too reminiscent of the STVI fight. I do like the scene of Picard blinding firing in all directions with phasers, then when they get a hit letting loose the torps (which all miss, unfortunately). A bit contrived that a single salvo could drop a Sovereign from warp, but such is the way with plot contrivances. I thought the whole battle could have worked much better if they had shown the Scimitar jacking up that Starfleet task force until the Valdore-type ships arrive.
  25. They (at least the deceased crew of ASS-1) to be macronized, though, no? IIRC, Focker mentions that to Hikaru, when he was explaining the Battroid, that the ASS-1 was determined to crewed by giants wasn't it? Those lines made think of the SA as "Protodevlin controlled Zentraedi"
