I gotta get a v2. Have nothing to put my (broken) Thunder Hummer on and no motivation to fix it until I get one. TV Roy still backordered at amiami and the prices at Frank have been atrocious (and haven't seen any there recently, anyway).

SW pretty deliberately posited that pilots needed to look down and use their instrumentation, since everyone (even Vader and Luke, before he "let's go") uses their vector-based targetting computers to aim. IIRC they're supposed to be going way too fast for visual acuity to help them, which renders the visibility from their cockpits irrelevent for anything except landing (and given the smooth ride we see the X-wings taking off at, with their repulsors don't need alot of visibility, either) I've always been most fond of the advanced biotech from B5, specifically the Vorlon and Shadow ships

Too bad they didn't keep killing for MORE toys in the cartoon. I would have liked to see some more Decepticon casualties, too.

How does Grimlock do it? I don't have MP Grimlock (yet... hoping TRU will get it in one of these days).

That Luke looks bad ass. Love my HK-47 (and the HK-50, too!). The B.A.D. thing got to be to buy a whole bunch of figs that I haven't taken out of the blister just the droid part. Anyone get the TRU TIE Interceptor? Yay or Nay?

Backlighting one thing is cool, but to get a good effect, other things should be lit... running lights... a red or orange LED in the feet/engines... red LED for the weapon doesn't sound bad. Sounds? I'd want em to stick with the basics and nice quality ratcheted joints to start. Then metal for all fragile pieces (like the infamous BP8). THEN gimmicks like lights. As far as things like the batteries... best idea is to put them on something that's removable (like Boosters/FAST Packs, etc) or like Bandai did with their Star Trek Models (in the stand).

Is the head a switcher like Starscream, if so you still get Rodimus Prime Robot... I don't really want the Space Winnebago and would probably just leave it in the box.

I prefer the metallic eyes that MP prime has to the translucent plastic yamato uses. Mmm ratchet joints on MP Prime are the best. He holds poses like no tomorrow and love the hands on MP prime much more than any Yamato.

Right. And then they have Meltran taller than VF-22S, which is one of the tallest valks in UN Spacy. Basically, what is "said" isn't worth as much as is "shown" when they conflict, even if it's "canon" isn't in dispute. The visual medium IS the canon.

If it's like mine, it was instantly obvious and broken while in the bubble wrap. The tiny crumbs of resin in the bottom of the baggie were a hint, too. The rest is so well executed, it's a shame this happened as otherwise, I'd be singing the praises of really great work. No visible damage on the box, but imagine there was manhandling (or maybe turbulence) in the trip over. Looks like robodragon makes 2 broken. Should be interesting to see if we're outliers or if it happens to other people, as well.

I just had all new windows installed on my house, double pane, thermal coating, etc (in the demo the¥ put a heat lamp on each side ), so maybe I'll be good. Yeah, still gotta get a TV Roy... anyone see it at Frank yet? I should just order from AmiAmi, probably...

Yeah, I'll probably try to work on it. OP has offered to send it back for him to fix, but seems like a bit of a hassle. I'm thinking the design would be better if those pieces weren't all on one piece. The codpiece should go in with a slot/tab/screw, I'm thinking and the side pieces should be shipped separately, to be attached with a small screw, maybe self-tapping?

I had a similar issue and the best replacement springs were those from 3.5" floppy disks or clipped safety-pins IIRC.

The tail pipes are bothering me far more than the hood, but yeah that's an issue, too. We're always going to get raped on imported grey-market Takara, though. US Masterpiece releases have been pretty good (if you can stomach things like Prime's smokestacks - I couldn't so got a set on evilbay which solved 75% of my grief and haven't taken the time to get the dremel to get it up to 90% satisfaction).

Unfortunately, consistency in the scaling of Zentran and Meltran hasn't been as consistent as we'd like... There's Britai, for example, and the Zentran uniform that fits over Max's VF-1. It gets even better with Frontier (Klan and Mikhail's VF-25)... And then there's:

Picked mine up. Beautiful set... and looks like awesome quality. Love the invidividual missiles.... Unfortunately, mine was broken in shipping. The right hip pod broke off where the rod meets the extending boom. The crotch attachment is sheared off at the base of the codpiece.
