  1. It would be great if they did. I'd personally like somthing of a good scale in resin but if the toy was good enough then i'd be tempted. It needs to be a good size though. I like the Wave SDF but I was really hoping it would be bigger.
  2. I got some inkjet stuff and also some laser printer paper both clear and white on eBay works great. Just remember to seal em after as the ink jet ones will run when wet. Seal under future or your usual sealer after and they work great.

    New Storage System

I have for a long time had all my cd's stord as lossless recordings on a harddrive. It's great and obviously can be saved where you like etc. As yet I havent trashed all the jewel cases like I did my computer disks but, I have now copied all my DVd's to harddrive too (well several drives). The cases are bulky and along with my cd's take up several of those plastic tubs with the sealble lids you can get from the hardware depots. I am going to be moving soon so bulking down would be a very good idea. As far as books are concerned I just have a standard book shelf. Magazines unless uber special get turned into pdf's and saved on harddrive and the originals get sent to the local recycle bins. thus I have freed up nearly a whole book case. Toys I saved all my old stuff and only a few boxes of the newer stuff as they too take up space. Models take up loads of space and I keep them in the plastic tubs anyhow. The ones that are going to be built are under the bed ready to go. Anything except the realy old (i.e 80's and 70's) the boxes get binned after use. The old ones get used for other things as storage boxes..
  4. Always interesting to see the old kit builds and how you sort them to be better and more in line with todays kit build quality.
  5. I will have to get these when they come out. Well there goes my idea of getting through my kit back log some time this centry.
  6. Thats a great collection there A few of them I wouldnt mind in my collection.
  7. Well I have been ramping down things for a while now, with the price of fuel in the U.K and the fact that I do over 300 miles a week just for work. Add that to the rising cost of living, I also just lost £2500 from one of my shares based savings acount, basically all the money I have put in this year is gone maybe it will go back up but Im not holding my breath. Finally my lack of space (I've filled it all), cant remember the last time I bought a toy. Models wise I limit my self to the Captains creations and the odd bargin buy. The last kit I got was a part done one from eBay. The world wil eventually right its self and we will all get back to spending our green on Macross stuff.
  8. I used to work for a company like that.....
  9. At least when you paint them the colours will go away.
  10. chances are you wont find DOT 2 in the local auto mart as its mostly for track use only and not liecenced for road use AFAIK. The only oven cleaner I ever used is Mr Muscle mostly on Taka anb Bandai 1/55 parts but Also on a couple of old Airfix kits. As far as brittle ness or degredation of the plastic goes I couldnt say as the Chunkie FPs are brittle anyhow but the main body parts were all ok. Brake fluid works well though great thing is you can strain out the paint flakes and use it again and again. provided you keep it in a airtight and water free enviroment. In fact eh only problem it has it unlike oven cleaner you cant just wash it down the drain. I take mine to the local amenity tip as they have a collection point for engine oils and fluids.
  11. Break fluid works for me. you can also try oven cleaner the spray foam type, at the very least it makes the paint all soft so you can brush it off with a nail brush.
  12. I am hopefully gonna get a play when I get home tonight (fingers crossed)
  13. You can put a bit of acrylic flat coat in with the future to dull it off a bit. I use Tamiya in mine dont mix up too much though as it seems to go off after a few weeks.
  14. I personally dont have any views of the Vf-25 but I may have some of the Vf-0 I can help with, I'll look for you. Dont worry about your spelling and English its all good.
  15. I always use different caps for different types of paint I have one for oils like Humbrol one for Future and one for Tamiya. Basically I never mix em up because everytime I have I get problems. The jars are easy to clean out even when the paint is dry just use hot soapy water and some scotch brite/pan scourer, this takes off everything even pactra lexan paint, nothing sticks like that stuff. My friend washes his in the diswasher.
  16. Some of the black lines are not so bad to do as decals. ~ the only ones I really hate are the almost pin stripe ones and the nose cone ones. But careful masking and low preassure air brushing will see you right.
  17. I was thinking th every same thing the other day. I have in the past sprayed things while still on the sprews as they are often easier to handle that way but panelining bits may be worth a try.
  18. Oh poo after your review I now need to get one
  19. The picture would be like the Class photo from school taken at about 10 feet away

    QF-11 build

Cool, you now need to post some work in progress pictures and a complete and highly detailed how to guide
  21. I agree thats the real PITA part of ther Badger system I found that RC model fuel line is the same size and when they get too gunked up I toss em and cut a new one. the trick is to get them in thiners or windowlene as soon as you finish as they start to dry out really quick. Looks like the dinky version of mine IIRC I paid about £80 for it in Germany had it shipped back via UPS for about £10
  22. nicely done what are you using for the design work ?
  23. They are very good. Do a search on badger too as you can get the parts and extras in Hobbycraft (if you ave one near you) they are quite cheap and have most of the bits on the shelf. Im fairly sure they do Iwata compatable spares too.
  24. Some of the smaller bits you can brush paint. Only other colours you may need would be a couple of grey light and dark and may be a gunmetal metalic.
