Good deal and expect around $50+ to ship it since it is a Monster!

Yes, all the Destroids and enemy Mecha. Those are the true stars of the HMR line IMO.
  3. I see what you did there.
  4. I guess to a lot of Macross collectors, these DX articulated hands are a godsend and huge improvement over what we are used to from Yamato and Arcadia, where fixed hands are a must. It’s funny, you have me here saying I don’t care about fixed pose hands and in the Yamato 1/48 thread, I’m asking if there are options to get fixed poses hands!
  5. I don’t know if it’s a great idea for you being pretty new but I’ve cancelled many orders over the years. I always ask politely with some reason I am unable to go through with the order and they have always obliged. I’ve had cases where I forgot to pay for items I wanted and they cancelled my order even when I basically begged them to allow me to pay. None of these have resulted in any warnings or bans. I’m pretty sure they see me as a reliable customer so that probably helps.
  6. Yeah, 1/3000 Arcadia PF version would be lovely. As for that beast, it all ties in to the Jetfire talk. Remember, Transformers were developed from existing transforming toys. The majority of them came from a line called Diaclone. There are many articles you can find about the history of Diaclone and Transformers. The figures transform and are modular to connect with other figures and allow you to create just about any combination you want. Many collectors are considering this new Diaclone line to be the best line of toys out today. I’ve resisted the line due to the utter wallet destruction it could cause if I dove in but there is no way in hell I can pass this release up. I can’t imagine any fan of bad ass looking transforming figures to pass this up. Lol.
  7. Yeah, I like the extra hands. Just don't care about them either way. Glad to have them, wouldn't miss them if they weren't there. If they sold more extra hands, I'd buy them just to have and probably never use them. So I prefer they don't try to sell more hands.
  8. I don't care about extra hands. In this case, the stock articulated hands are excellent.
  9. Nice, I still want one of those Cosmo Fleet SDF-1s but I think I'll just hold out for a bigger, better one to come someday. @sqidd psa, I a have a feeling you are gonna want this. https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B07YV3YPM7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  10. Yeah, the thing is a pita! I might end up gluing parts on but I really don't want to do that either.
  11. If you have $5k to spare or want to negotiate, I say buy this man's collection NOW!
  12. Well, when I said best toy ever made, I meant the original Takatoku versions or the later Bandai reissues. Jetfire was great too but there were a few things inferior about it. Mainly, it didn't have swapable canopy with heat shield, just the clear canopy as you see in the pic above, the nose was blunted I guess for US safety laws and the gunpod also doesn't come with projectiles that you could shoot someone's eye out with (that damn US saftey law again). If you can, try to get some copy of this toy, even if it is Jetfire because it will let you understand and appreciate the greatness of Macross and the VF-1 toy even more. Like I said, it is s till my consideration of the finest toy ever made to this day.
  13. Yeah, Macross SDFM came out in 1982 with Takatoku VF-1 "Chunky Monkey" toys at the same time. Hasbro bought rights to existing transforming toys to create Transformers. Most of them were from Takara but the Jetfire toy was from the Takatoku toy design. Many, at least I consider it to be the finest toy ever made.
  14. Smart move with the light covers. I'd recommend getting the headlight covers too. Hell, I want to clearbra my entire car but it's so expensive!
  15. So this talk got me to try to take some pics of my desk fighters. The F-14 fell 4 times off that stupid Flightpose stand and all the hardware on the bottom of the plane fell off multiple times just trying to set this up.
  16. That's exactly how I use my CW/Flightpose stand. I added thrust effects to cover them in this pic but that's how it works.
  17. So basically CW stands suck across the board? They are lovely models but between the fiddly parts and stands, I'm not motivated to buy anymore than the one I have. Even though the KC 1/72 Valk I got recently isn't the greatest, I think it is an incredible value in comparison to CW. For slightly less, you do get cheaper materials but a paintjob that is very comparable and the thing still transforms.
  18. Wow, I thought CW had a new design for flight stands they were using for the F-14s at least. The Flightpose stands completely suck for these (and most other toys) because of the weight of the diecast. The pads have potential to remove paint so you need to cover them but then they might lose grip if you use something like tape to cover them. I’m not sure what would work for these VF-1s unless @ChaoticYeti makes an adapter to use with his stands. The only way I got the Flightpose stand my F-14 came with to hold somewhat securely was by inserting two posts directly in the thrusters and the other to support the model vertically. Luckily, I like it that way but might not be possible with the VF-1 thruster design.

    1/48 decals?

Oh, I didn’t realize you were printing these with a white printer. I pm’d asking to get a file that I could just print on white decal paper. I’d be into buying white printed sheets though.
  21. Probably since it is something I have done. But I find as long as things are sealed and boxed up well, the whole temp thing doesn't make a difference to my collection at least. I've had stuff stored all over the country in different temps and see no difference in them. Isn't that version Skyfire or did they have to change the name again?
  22. Don't panick. Dispute in order of the connection, which is eBay, PayPal, CC. You will most likely get it taken care of in the first step when eBay sees the seller is gone.
