  1. I know you got your answer and want this deleted but there are the current KC Valks that are not models and 1/72.
  2. Haha, not what you would have expected huh? I don't think Sgts. get flight duty clearance but hey, it's our own fantasy so wth right? On another note, I unexpectedly had to go to the office so I grabbed my missile sets while I was there. Looks like I will be getting to play some DX VF-1 pew pew soon!
  3. Oh that's a bummer for sure! Madarake would not let that slide without noting it. But for you, it seems like NBD based on how you plan to display it.
  4. Hahaha, what have I started? As for my original post to clarify...I saw the post about Kakizaki’s Valk having the wrong prints and was reminding people who were complaining that it comes with the decal sheet. Obviously for those who want the Valk. I said the decal sheet comes with the Valk, not the other way around, lol! For those who don’t want it, of course the fine and kind services of @Anasazi37 make a lot more sense. Maybe everyone can eventually get whatever Captain they wish on the side of their cockpits too?
  5. Haha, the next Macross series coming to screens everywhere soon!
  6. Haha, I'm just glad that I wouldn't care if each panel had a completely different number or no number. Makes no difference in the enjoyment I get out of my toys. Other than the times when I'm specifically trying to read some of the details, I never even notice what any of them say. I'm always enjoying how cool my toys look overall, transforming them, posing them and swooshing them around. If the tiny print by the side of the cockpit said "Capt. Jack Sparrow" or Captain Crunch", so what? But yeah, I also get that it would be just as easy to get it all right but who and what is right anyways?
  7. Remember...Kakizaki's 1A was shown to come with a decal sheet for those who can't tolerate backwards numbers that you don't even see 90%+ of the time you own the figure.
  8. Haha, HLJ's site is a joke since they "upgraded it". Right now, not only is AJ a solid option, it should be the cheapest (pretty sure it is as far as I've seen) and one of the fastest options.
  9. Yeah, too early to think about it yet but I just checked and it still says dispatched. If it's on the same pace as my last ferry shipments, I'll expect it end of Sept. Anything sooner will be a nice surprise.
  10. Thanks! These things are like mining for gold!
  11. Thanks for the update @sqidd! Congrats to @ChaoticYeti for his job and selfishly saying I hope he is able to open up the Yeti Shop someday.
  12. Lol, HLJ still has it as a pending order for me. I’ll take it whenever they decide to make it available to me. I actually got it a while ago but just never opened yet.
  13. Yep! Random to others but it all makes sense to us! Nice! My CD shelves also tend to start collecting other items along the way. So...I think my DX 1/48 Missile sets are are my office so I won't be able to get them for a while, which means I won't be opening my 1S for a while longer and I have no new pics to share...
  14. Those Garland toys are very sweet. Different from the Valks but you get the idea of what the company does.
  15. regular. The PF is listed at 38280Y by Arcadia https://arcadia.ac/products/detail.php?product_id=302
  16. Well, I wouldn’t say the VF-0 is much higher quality than the Arcadia VF-1 or VF-4. I’d say it benefits from being an evolved design based on the VF-1. It retains the basics of the VF-1 but they were able to make many improvements since it is a later design even though it’s supposed to predate the VF-1 in the imaginary timeline. Arcadia in general makes very high quality products, imo.
  17. Haha, Tower records....I’ve never even begun to talk about my cd collection here have I? Let’s just say that thankfully they are smaller than comic books but they still weigh a crapload when you have dozens of boxes full of them. I have mentioned that I’m a collector so if I’m not collecting one thing at a point in time, I’m collecting another. Most the time, I’m collecting several things at the same time. It’s a tough life but someone has to do it.
  18. Yeah, it’s a tossup depending on what you prefer. What is clear is no other Valk comes close to either, imo.
  19. Yeah, seems like a no-brainer to me but I get that different things matter to different people. I’m definitely tired of correcting all the misinformation about them and don’t really care anymore. They used to have lower prices across the board and I was consistently able to get items from NY shipped for less than most other shops were charging for the items without shipping. I don’t see how that doesn’t make up for “gouging” but again, I don’t care, lol. Thing is, they are starting to have less discounts on their preorders and end of day, I don’t care what shop I order from as long as they deliver and I get the lowest price. I’m finding some items for cheaper elsewhere now so I’ll go with them although using some of the other new shops, I’ve noticed other issues they have that bother me so will just see how it all goes...
  20. Honestly, I haven’t done much with my DX YF-19 other than swoosh it around a bit. Excuse is I have the Arcadia YF-19 too an messed with that a lot more before the DX came out. I like them both but I put the DX VF-1 and Arcadia VF-0 above. Regult 2 Pack is wonderful but not a good comparison with transformable Valks. GX-71 GoLion is a pretty damn good piece too and although it transforms, it’s also kinda hard to compare since it is a much more simple transforming combiner. I also personally don’t care for GoLion but still own the toy because it’s just that good. Anyways, the Arcadia VF-0 is along with the DX VF-1 at the top of the Valk toy evolution chain for different reasons, imo.
  21. I haven’t experienced cracks in my 0Ss. Even so, the ones I’ve seen with cracks show no sign of them actually breaking off or affecting the functionality. It’s just stress cracks that are cosmetic. I personally consider the Arcadia VF-0 to be a better design and better quality than the DX VF-1 but they are both very close. DX has more metal and articulation, Arcadia has better fit and finish resulting in a more satisfying transformation, solidly locking in all modes and feels more refined. They are my top two, all-time Valk toys (not counting the original Chunky) so you can’t go wrong.
  22. Not gonna argue with you on this one but FWIW, mine was shipped before other retailers were even charging for it and I'm sure I paid less than any other shop for shipping since they offer ferry and most other shops don't.
  23. This is definitely untrue. For example, Arcadia lists the 0D PF as 44990Y and I purchased it from NY for 43800Y.

Nah, I'd call it one of the best edging lines ever!
