  1. Yeah, thousands sounds right if you have a typical collection that a lot of us here do.
  2. I don’t remember all the prices but it’s definitely more expensive than any other stand by a good amount, especially when you trick them out to hold multiple Valks. Well worth it though. Maybe someone has an order invoice handy to provide an example? You can easily spend hundreds if you want them for your whole collection.
  3. One thing I’d say is the stands are not cheap. I’m sure the materials and time to make them are not cheap either but I’ll fund it by buying them if/when the shop reopens.
  4. Not completely clear but he did make adapters out of clear material that ended up as a translucent white. I haven’t used them for any DX Valks yet but there should be the same thing where a translucent adapter can connect to the clear DX attachment. Yeah
  5. I used to hang all my model aircraft and some toys using fishing line. Never had a problem with it. Some of these Valks are a lot heavier though.

    Macross figures

That’s pretty sweet. Need to pose the Valk for that image to complete the recreation
  7. You can also use Tamashii stages. The trident stage works well for anything bigger than HMR. I’m just saving my money and using the stands I have already or included with DX Valks until yeti comes back. No sense in “wasting” money on anything lesser.
  8. Yeah, my most wanted VF-1. Your attention to detail is superb. Been doing a great job.
  9. Yeah, that would probably make me bite even though I so don’t need it. Really want the 0A in any finish.
  10. It’s odd that the recent reissue GBP didn’thave a PF option. VF-0D style weathered finish on the armor parts would be sweet.
  11. Yeah, I need some supplies! Swwet 0S shots @sh9000 & @Lolicon
  12. He temporarily closed shop due to a new job and the supply issue with the pandemic.
  13. Yeah but the arm is still grey. It just doesn't look good to me when you are trying to display something in action with a black/grey/any solid color arm. Bottom line is yetistand > * and we need him back to help us!
  14. The basic clear one was 2700Y, the Variable was around 5000Y.
  15. I'd prefer if they reissue their simple clear stand. The Variable Stand is great but I think the display options are limited because I don't want more than a couple of my valks to be displayed attached to a launch arm. Of course, it would be ideal if Yeti opened back up shop so I can get some really great stands.
  16. That is correct.
  17. Yeah, while the prices haven’t skyrocketed, you probably shouldn’t wait too long. Once the current stock runs out even if it is already secondary market, prices will likely climb. I agree that it’s probably the case that most the supply was purchased by resellers and they are now competing with each other for sales.
  18. No camera can make up for composition and lighting...Conversely, any camera these days especially can produce more than decent looking images when composited and lighted nicely. Speaking of...your picture actually looks really good to me. Just the background isn't the most flattering.
  19. Yep, thanks! I need to remember to keep track of what's coming so I don't miss out. I really want the Mig and Su releases.
  20. Damn! I missed an AFC I would have liked. Oh well.
  21. The difference is the Arcadia VF-0 is the best Valk ever released. The Chunky Monkey is the best toy ever made.
