    Haha, yep! I was going to mention it again but it seems like @Kinzoku VF might actually enjoy the torture and talking about it. All good! I hope everyone gets theirs. If I had placed an order with NY, it would have been sometime in December so if they were shipping in order, I'd be near the end of the line, lol. It's probably better I missed out because what if I already got mine from them? I'd be virtually lynched in this thread, lol!

    Yep, camera tech is getting really good even in phones. As always, the person behind the camera is more important than the equipment and lighting is always key.

    If you don't want to get too crazy but want pro level quality and adjustability, I'd recommend looking into the micro four thirds mirrorless cameras. I use a Sony Nex-5. There are a lot of great ones on the market.

    Definitely in some cases. Luckily for me is it means money saved for more products.

    I always choose the cheapest option, including ship freight when available and haven't had the same issues as you so I'm going to chalk it up to one of the handlers in between that caused this. I got a domestic shipment from FedEx yesterday that looked much worse than your box but thankfully, the contents were intact. It was a Black Series Vader Helmet.

    Thanks! Is it the angle deceiving me or does it look like the lights are aimed away from the figures, or at least not closer to a 45 degree angle in towards the case? If so, I think that and the lack of another set of lights on the left side is a big part of the problem. I like that the lights are mostly hidden behind the bar. As as for the lil Draken set...here's another possibility: The existing set is incompatible with the new 31F and you have to buy a new version with a slightly different attachment for it to work.

    Can you post a picture of your setup? I was planning on going with a vertical light setup like that in one of my cabinets.

    I noticed this mentioned before. Do you cover the part with a cloth or something? Seems like it would scratch if you didn't.

    Sounds like a plus...but an expensive one. Bandai definitely does some annoying things. I'm pissed about the first Rocket Racoon release with pea shooters and now they have a TWE with a big gun.

    Yep, I buy 3P TFs from there and always got a great deal and received exactly what I wanted. There is a good thread on TFW that lists the reputable sellers. Not sure about Macross products because I haven't bought any from there but I think some people here may have and mentioned it in the knock off thread.

    It would have been an unwise investment to paint over a PF when the same could have been done on the regular version.
