Perhaps a better idea would be to have the Xenomorph chase the writing team for this series through their own offices, spewing printer ink at them in a blind rage.

Are you making this transformable?

Super Macross Mecha Fun Time Discussion Thread!
pengbuzz replied to Valkyrie Driver's topic in Movies and TV Series
@Seto Kaiba On another note Seto: I recall in SFDM that Britai tore the chestplate off of Hikaru's VF-1J when Hikaru, Kakizaki and Max Jenius engaged him aboard his command cruiser. My question is this: I know that Britai was unusually tall for even Zentraedi, but how hard would it be for a Zentraedi to do something like that to a modern Valkyrie nowadays (i.e. vf-25 and up)? I would imagine with the magnetic shifters binding the torsos in place it would be pretty hard even for someone like Britai. -

I think at this point, reliability might be a bigger draw than a top-performer that chokes and burns itself out with dismal regularity. -
I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind. And if I'm wrong, you can tell him to blame me.

Talk to Arbit; I think he designed some in 3d print...

Looks incredible!!! Moving forward, if you ever do this one again, I would recommend installing/ replacing the joints from the start, and reinforce the areas where they attach. I'd also recommend replacing some of the "arms" for the transform with metal rods or something. Just a few suggestions, as I'm not aware of a more modern kit for the Cyclone/ Ride Armor.

Looks familiar somehow.... -
Just loving this!!! I think a gentle drybrush with some silver in a few key places and it's good to go! Nice job with this!

Right? I could buy a Power Warrior for that amount. -
Much like Shadow Chronicles...

I think I'll just watch the first two films and call that good.

Right? I'm not a firm believer in super glue's shear strength, even with baking soda reinforcement.

Yeah; that happened to my Leigoss transformable fighter, and ultimately led to its' demise .

Awesome! Looking forward to that. Just be careful on the joints for that figure; from my experiences with Imai's Mospeada line, they're really brittle and fragile. O.o

Looks really good! One thing I might suggest is an oil wash: thinned down oil paint applied into crevasses and corners to bring them out more.

Weird. O.o We'll have to wait and see...

BTW: from what I found out today, Round2 is reissuing the models: https://www.culttvmanshop.com/PREORDER-VINCENT--The-Black-Hole-reissue-from-Round-2MPC--Price-TBA-PREORDER-RESERVATION_p_7859.html

Sorry; I meant your current project. O.o Sometimes my brain vapor locks on me while typing!

That was just luck: I had the clear soft inner plastic tray from my Koss KTXPRO-1 Titanium Headphones, and the part where the earpieces sat provided me the shapes for both canopies. A little heat for the upper one and a wooden sphere helped refine it further (I prefer "soda bottle plastic" when possible, as it can be ridiculously thin at scale and still look much clearer than styrene. Also: clearcoat doesn't bother it!). No problem! Curious to see how yours comes out! :D
