  1. UPDATE: Stripped the head and body down and redid them entirely; hair still needs some work, but I'm happy with most of it: I told Hikaru and Max not to mouth off at Breetai!!!
  2. Thanks; the body looks a little too scrawny in comparison to his head. Working on that now... Also, generally not happy with the uniform or the face for that matter, so going to be removing the uniform and redoing that, as well as totally resculpting the face with a woodburning tool and a hot melt glue gun. This isn't meeting up to my standards; I expect better from myself than this dreck. Stay tuned...
  3. Thanks; I think his body needs some bulking up though.
  4. Some more progress on Breetai: Still needs work...stay tuned...
  5. Got it; looked to me like they were using Breetai for ideas to do plastic surgery on the lead characters! O.o
  6. Yeah, I always wondered what was with Rick/ Hikaru's chin in the Robotech II comics; looks like he could have broken a door down with it!
  7. Interesting...in a morbid, off-handed way. ROFL!!!🤣
  8. What if it's a chicken you're baking in the oven and it detonates? O.O
  9. Just started this one today: Yeah, need to refine the face and hair a bit; this is still in progress. But I was never a fan of Matchbox's attempts; need to find a set of hands for him and make the outfit (sewing...erk. ) Stay tuned, miclones...
  10. You could go back in with a very fine mechanical pencil, then seal it and no one should be able to tell the difference.
  11. Well, with a little work, they actually can become quite decent: (Gloval was actually made from a GI Joe "Dress Blues Gung-Ho" figure; Lisa was heavily modded from the actual Lisa Hayes figure).
  12. Lucky you... I turn 50 next year! O.o (where did the time go?! )
  13. Looks like Poison Ivy from DC Comics trying to get it on with a purple mummy....
  14. That would be the Skydancer: I found this pic here, along with info on the series: https://thedorkreview.blogspot.com/2015/09/cool-article-bionic-six.html I'd love to see that! Meantime, I think the other craft in Galaxy Rangers (the one you have a pic of above) is the Interceptor. They actually have a printable version someone designed: https://betamountain.org/index.php/Printable_Ranger_Interceptor https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4950691
  15. Tom Baker was "The Doctor" when I was growing up; never really warmed up to any of the other classic Doctors. Of the new ones, I liked all of them except for Jodie Whittaker (her take on the Doctor seemed a bit "off" to me). At first I didn't like Peter Capaldi, but he ended up growing on me (especially after his Zygon Inversion speech). Matt Smith's first speech to the Atraxi was awesome, and I loved Chris Eccleston's take when he first encountered "Cassandra" in the episode "The End of the World". Some of my favorite moments: Tom Baker: Christopher Eccleston: David Tennant: Matt Smith: Peter Capaldi:
  16. You know... I had nearly forgotten about Galaxy Rangers until you mentioned it Thom! And yeah; I still build cardboard models! Was this the one you tried building: https://www.ebay.com/itm/115162374841 Hmm... thinking maybe of of those ships would be a nice next project...
  17. You were 12 years old in 1996?!!! Somebody get me my walker...
  18. Hence the saying Safety Regulations Are Written In Blood...
  19. First Secretary of USSR: "Are you enjoying your ride, Mr. Gant? Do you like our new toy?" Gant: "it could be improved..." First Secretary of USSR: "Heh... your expert opinion, Mr. Gant?" Gant: "You could say that..." I have this movie on DVD...sometime I need to scratch this plane up. BTW derex: here's the movie for free online if you want to watch it: https://www.lookmovie2.to/movies/play/1689756702-firefox-1982
  20. I'm not sure I would believe Rotten Tomatoes on much of anything; I've discussed elsewhere with folks about them and they are of the opinion RT is largely solicited.
