Yes, even the obscure ones. These toys are niche products anyway. Yamato already knows more or less the kind of demand they can expect. The people who may want these products later shouldn't be barred from getting them through timely re-issues. It's precisely artifical demand and the phenomenon of the toy hoarder which I want to remove from this hobby. These toys should go to the fans and collectors, not to toy speculators and "investors"

I didn't know Toynami sculpted action figures for other people. You mean to tell me that Toynami has its own generic 1:6 scale action figure body? I thought all along it was Popbox doing the sculpting.

No LE's, please. Yamato should produce any/all of those designs in whatever numbers will make sense for them without labeling it as an LE, even if it means making a production run that is smaller than usual. That way, they should sell enough to cover costs, turn a profit and meet projected demand. And if demand picks up again, they can reissue them any time.

I'd prefer Destroids in 1/48 scale PRECISELY because there's not enough Macross stuff in 1/48 scale. Haha! I just tipped the scales to dead even!

Hmmm, I agree it is a major improvement. However, I hate to admit it, but that lime green scheme was finally growing on me! Sort of like a Scopedog look!

Is it possible to tell that you got a VF-0S with two right (left?) shoulders without transforming it? I'll be exchanging my VF-0S this weekend and may get a chance to make only a cursory inspection of the new piece in the store.

...what would you change? I ask this question because I'm guessing the only way Yamato could justify re-releasing a toy which was supposed to be a limited edition would be to make subtle differences between the two releases. That way, the original will always be distinct, preserving its value. I guess the first thing I would change would be the color of the gunpod. White just doesn't do it for me. I was thinking maybe the standard black used on previous Valkyries' gunpods, charcoal grey or maybe even navy blue. I guess the ordnance could stay white, but I wouldn't mind seeing them match the color of the gunpod. Is there some military protocol for the color of wing mounted ordnance? Another idea would be to change the color of the battroid's hands to black or charcoal grey. The contrast would be similar to the "gloved" effect achieved on the Low Vis. Woodland Valkyrie. Did the color of the feet of the original Low Vis. match the body or was it darker? It would be nice if they matched the hands.

I don't know guys. Aren't you all being just a little too hard on these? I'm just happy that the canopies are going to be clear! For a while there, I was afraid they were going to be painted blue. Besides, how much cockpit detail could they have gotten at such a small scale at such low price? (don't have the Banprestos, so I wouldn't know what's been achieved before)

So some of the decals on your Hasegawa Macross Plus sheet will be scaled for the 1/72 toys?

After a recent unfortunate experience with a brand new VF-0S, I launched into a frenzy, ripping open every last MISB Yamato Macross toy that I own. So far, the rest seem ok, quality-wise, but I haven't had the chance to transform my VF-11B with FAST Pack and my YF-21 with FAST Pack. However, I did notice that my YF-21 FP didn't come with a sticker sheet! And I had bought that months ago... To be honest, I probably would never have used it but, like I'm sure most of you can identify with, I like having the sheet around as insurance in case I'm forced to sell the toy. Besides, I always figured I would use an after market custom decal or sticker sheet. Then I wondered: does anyone even make custom decal or sticker sheets for the Macross Plus Valkyries? Anasazi, Takatoys or anyone else who may care: do any of you offer these?

Got a VF-0S today, and one of the fins under the fuselage was broken straight out of the box! Dammit! The broken piece wasn't even there, so gluing it back on isn't even an option. Anyway, I know the seller is a nice guy, and I've already sent him PM about it. 'Problem is, his shop is across town through hella traffic. Hopefully he can come through for me with a painless replacement.

Am I seeing this correctly? Are those two different shades of green on the toy aside from the base light brown color?

This would be SOOOO easy to do. I can't understand why Yamato hasn't done it yet. They could go all out by providing a scaled up, fully articulated and equipped action figure using the tech they employed with the Chirico and Shogo fgures, or they could go cheap and just give us an SIF-style PVC statue. Either way you just know fans will lap it up.

When the low vis first came out, I was still deciding whether or not I wanted take the plunge into this hobby (shocking I know ) and whether I wanted the 1/48, a chunky monkey or an MPC Veritech (yes, those were unelightened times ) Now that I'm collecting the 1/48's, it's too late to get a Low vis for a decent price.

Who cares about "diehard" collectors?! These are toys, dammit! They should be made available for all (at a reasonable price)! Valkyries for the people!
