    Agreed, we don't need Wesley Crusher... didn't his arc end with him going off to be a 'traveler' which was kind of god-like? If they want to bring him back, give us a twist and make him Q. EDIT - not in this series of course... as that would make no sense.

    I think each of my YF-29s have ONE floppy joint, none of them have the same floppy joint. The worst offender is Isamu, he has one shoulder joint that is floppy and won't stay up which has to be the most frustrating floppy joint you can get on these. My Alto toy probably has the loosest hips but a little tightening to the screw in the back helps with that. It's such a great toy though. A renewal version would look incredibly similar but with a matte finish and redesigned joints to address these loosening issues and that'd be pretty much all they would need to do.

    To be fair, do you say "1st of August" or do you say "January 8th". I usually say the month first so it feels awkward to me to make the month the second number written. If you write it out, do you write 8th, January, 2020 or would you write August 1, 2020. You can pick on our failure to convert to Celsius or the metric system but on this one... I think we got it right.

    Since the Yamato 1/48 is officially dead dead, it would be okay for a member to offer something like recast hands right? I know that was verboten once upon a time but I also know somebody was making them since i have a set of LV fixed posed hands that had to come from somewhere :). Also... Super YF-29 Battroid group shot!

    I'm happy to hear it's being worked on. Feels like it's been a while since we had more Macross. I've been playing with YF-29s lately, I wonder if we'll get a new vehicle in the second Delta movie like the second Frontier movie gave us.

    Not terribly hard, you get a Super VF-1J Hikaru even though you know it never had supers in the show, then you buy the GBP and you put them on your Hikaru toy, then you buy a VF-1S Focker and you put on the TV supers... then you're done collecting 1/48 Yamato toys... Okay, maybe not done. At one point though I did dwindle my Yamato 1/48 down to just those pieces.

    Again, there's no way they're taking a loss and buying from other stores/sellers. I don't think it would create a stink either. How many other retailers want to take a tiny margin TWE item and order a ton of it and then deal with people pinging them constantly saying "everyone has their stuff, why don't I have mine??" Big companies like Bandai also offer perks to channels and maybe TWE access is one of them. "If you carry all our lines and sell X¥ in goods every quarter, you get this kickback." CDJapan used to carry TWE items and stopped, Anime Export still does. NY was shipping VF-31A toys at MSRP after they retailed for $500 on the secondary market... I guarantee they were not buying them and selling them at a loss.... they were getting them slowly at cost (or close to it). Otherwise, they would cancel orders.

    Call me crazy on the 29s, but I think they all should be Alto's paint job in different colors (like Rod is). The commemorative version is ALMOST this but I feel like they switched what was white and what was black at the last moment. That's how we ended up with a white head in the middle of a black back and white paint all over white plastic. Isamu should also be beige down the middle with a lot more black and super part gray leg missile bays. I get that the game designers were going more for YF-19 than YF-29 though.

    There's no way that NY goes and searches the secondary market for stock they fail to acquire. The margins are too thin in this business for that to ever be the case. If it were, they'd simply offer everyone store credit and eventually cash for those who fought with them enough. People said the same thing about scouring the secondary market with the VF-31A and it did not happen. While I have no idea what NY does, they definitely do not buy (at a loss) to fulfill your order. It's much more likely they have a commercial arrangement with Bandai that gives them access to a larger ordering pool but at the slowest terms. Where individual consumers get their products shipped directly, NY probably receives some in this manner and many more via some boat shipment (or multiple boat shipments) with a "you get it when you get it" attitude. This would also explain why most people got bumped to April. NY probably only received the few orders for their standard accounts that they ordered and had their entire 'commercial' order bumped to the next release.

    Nah, NUNS stuff gets supers too. Pretty sure Rod got supers in Macross 30... after all, in a video game repaints are even easier than the toy world

    I have never done anything with the super parts for Ozma or Isamu's YF-29 so I'm working on that update. While I had the toys out, I figured I'd get a new group photo done for the intro of the YF-29 review. I also cleaned up a few pics and the content, did one of these info pics: The site isn't working well right now... the embeds keep blowing up on me for no good reason.... but I have to move onto the Super Parts if I want to have a new vid by Sunday...
