Fast Packs will get reissued, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday. Mark my words (because otherwise I'll forget I said it). YF-19 on the other hand... who knows. If they do sell it it will probably be in yet another version leaving the previous examples still collectible. That's my opinion at least (worth $300??? That's another matter).

Nice desktop. You really ought to try to pick up the Matchbox Officer Pod also. I have a nice little "squad" but I still need the gray-legged pod to go with it. Sadly there's no room in my display cases and they've all been moved to storage until I make much more money and have a much better place to live

I swear I must know this PAM... I dated a girl (first relationship, pretty long and serious) that was a very similar trainwreck and she likes to pop back into my life. The even larger problem I have is she's either a pathalogical liar or got hit in the back of the head with a shovel at one point and got all her memories screwed up. She tells all our mutual friends when ever she blows in like a tornado all sorts of things we did (some flattering, some just bizarre) that are absolutely not true. Then whatever girl I'm dating (this has been happening for about 8 years) inevitably hears about these wild lies and either feels entirely intimidated or jealous and it takes weeks of smoothing over to repair the damage. ARGH!!! Rumor has it she just moved back from NY into my neck of the woods too... Fortunately I do double duty between SF and LA and my current gf is beyond the scope of her treachery.

It was actually the first 3000 and I am fortunate enough to have one of them (or unfortunate if you like, word is they have easily the worst QC). The only real difference I can see is that the blue intakes (chest) are a brighter green/blue on the first 3000. That's the kind of thing I'm looking for though. As far as I know, the Henshin Robos were just the same toys released in Europe. Maybe you guys can help me clear up the differences between all the continental releases though. I know that the Gakken Japan 1/35s have shooting guns and obviously a "Gakken Japan" stamp on them rather than "Gakken Singapore" but other than the packaging are there other differences? I also have seen that the blue 1/55 triple changer is packaged with a white false back in the Japanese version but a blue false back when sold elsewhere. Were all the Gakken 1/55s sold with white false backs? As for the Tread... I believe that's right about where my Mospeada obsession ends... and I think that's somewhere before the 6' tall superposeable...

Oh man, my girlfriend is always complaining that she wants to buy me "my toys" and gets frustrated when I give her no help or direction and insist she does not. Around my birthday or Xmas she'll say things like "you gotta tell me a transformer I can get you." This, in itself, makes me cringe since I only collect Mospeada and Macross stuff. I can just imagine how bad she might get ripped off if I told her to get me one of the items I do need. She also puts up with my ol' college buddies and the stories of the various nefarious deeds we engaged in (although I am hiding the digital photo album just to be nice). Fortunately for me she thinks my love of toys and anime is "cute" so some day I may just have to marry her. Then again, even if she didn't think it was all that cute I don't think I'd let it bother me. After all, to paraphrase Dave Chapelle, I like my toys, but I love P*SSY.

I think you read my original post as if I meant it to have some sort of stink in the tone. I wasn't trying to insult you or put you down. My point was just that M7's mech action sucked and it's a tough sell to clear that away by saying the pilots musta just sucked. I then invited the clarification you provided on why the Varuta would have better mechs than the M7 group, no stink or sarcasm there. I didn't mean to talk down to you, I simply meant to strongly disagree.

Can anyone tell me if there are remaining examples of the Legioss that I haven't gotten? I think there might still be more out there but I got into the game kinda late... 1) Toynami MPC 2) Toynami Poseable 3) Toynami Poseable Metallic 4) Toynami Morpher 5) Korean "Macross" Legioss 6) Gakken 1/35 7) Gakken 1/55 Diecast Gakken 1/55 9) Gakken 1/72 The only one I can think I'm missing is the Toynami I-men... Anybody know of any else, epsecially if you have pics, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Oh man, are you trying to defend M7s use of recycled exploding VF-11 animation? M7 redefined "cannonfodder" and while you can come up with theories why the pilots fly straight out and explode it's just a theory, the show never addresses anything. Besides, your theory is a little lacking. While these were colony ship pilots you would have to imagine VF training is superbly rigorous and all should be capable of doing more than fly straight out and explode. At the very least they should be good enough to warrant new animations of how they fly straight out and die. The mech action in Mac7 is terrible. Point of confustion here, probably because I have a misunderstanding of Mac7 somewhere, but weren't the Varuata just brainwashed Zents from another colonization mission? Wouldn't their mechs be technologically inferior to the VF-11 since their colonization mission went out several years prior?

I'm friggin' screwed if they try to release any more mac plus valks. I kinda hope they do give us a YF-19 FP though, I've never transformed any of my 19s and would like to have one in jet mode

I'm gonna agree with Duke Togo. However, you can get m7 basically for free and if you find yourself recently unemployed or otherwise incapacitated you might wanna just sit through the agony to earn your M7 badge. The valk action overall is pretty terrible (with a few exceptions) so don't look for M7 redemption there.

The Battlepod toy from the 80s Matchbox line really isn't bad. By no means is it great but considering some of the garbage that got released along side of it I think it's stands out as one of the better items. The Officer's Pod is also pretty nice. The male power armors on the other hand... well, let's just say they don't stand out so much.

You know, I think it'd be even worse than that. What they'd probably do is just not include the gold certificate in the book (or put a number anywhere on it) and not put Roy's portrait on the outside of the box to distinguish it from the original 15K. That's kinda what they did with the appendix A reissues. I'm still really hoping this is just rumor though. Maybe they'll give us a DYRL Hik VF-1S instead Oh man, I can sense a lot of MWers just got the urge to throw a brick at me.

Well, if they're re-issuing the Fokker maybe they'll give us a TV Max at some point? I still don't get anyone who could praise a 1/60 Yammy and bash the Toynami VFs... I like to think they both suck equally but at least the MPCs transform. I do have to question a company's ethics that releases a limited edition collectible and then fails to limit its numbers...

I find it hard to believe they didn't make it to 15,000. I have two and both are 11000+. I kinda doubt they're being re-issued...

I doesn't claim to be a Macross item does it? Looks like it says Mospeada everywhere. I give the guy credit for the effort.

With a CF and armor coming out, I think a fast pack re-issue would be a sure thing also... at least I hope. Man, I wish I weren't broke, I really love the 1/48s.

Wasn't this the same one that was listed in the suspicious auctions thread? Don't mean to scare you, just curious? I think someone pointed out there were two auctions using the exact same photo. There's a good chance I'm way off base though.

I don't get it, if you take off the weathering there's nothing "low vis" about this valk and I don't see it as having nearly the collectibility. True, a lot of folks don't like the weathering and remove it, and a lot of people don't mind and buy it anyway, but I think at that point you ought to consider it a "custom" and no longer a "limited edition." All the 1/48s or sweet none-the less.
