I don't follow the question. Generally you open a browse with a tab for every web store you know will have it. You either have a web monitor going or your refresh obsessively. As soon as the store lists the toy you add it to cart. At this point things will usually go sideways for you. The cart won't load, the page will crash, the cart will have a warning that the item is already out of stock. If you're lucky, real lucky, you'll be able to make a purchase. If you already secured one, you can help others by posting links here as you see other stores start listing them.

They're a legitimate store though they have certainly screwed a few people before on super hot items. They're one of the stores that does the escalating price. It goes up for order at one price and quickly escalates. That then leads to accusations later that the most expensive stock gets shipped first leaving the people who got in first with the most likely to get an "insufficient stock" cancellation later. There have been occasions where people were told there was insufficient stock but the toy was later available from the store at an extremely inflated price. That said, it seems they usually satisfy orders without problems.

It's an experiment... we'll see how it goes. As one of the few people who actually does dig through these super long threads from time to time to hunt down something I think might be relevant to reviews, I'm hoping it works. Nothing like trying to remember that one keen observation amongst 40 pages of "NY sucks!" and "I got cart-jacked!" (which are both comments I have also added many times to the relevant threads).

We have a separate PO thread for that conversation. Please discuss there.

SAL is like low priority air mail. Basically, there's a bunch of packages waiting to go by air and they fill the plane first with EMS boxes and then the rest of the room with SAL packages. SAL was generally one of the first services to go during the pandemic when there weren't enough flights to satisfy the needs for EMS, let alone room leftover for lower priority packages. "By ship" usually means "surface mail".

What's going on with the hip grenade/missiles? There's individual missiles and then little caps?

I can't imagine anything you can ship from Japan to the USA for 2,490 Yen right now. Sounds like you paid for SAL and had to get upgraded to FedEx or DHL. I would say the safe bet is that they used the same box to ship three as they would one so the shipping charge was the same for either. If you chose to ship three via express in the beginning then no change in cost.

Does anyone ever use the detachable missile gimmick on the Yamato? I do use the fitting effect on the 1/60 but never remove the 1/48 missiles but I can imagine a diorama.

Post in the PO thread please.

I read a review that made me Lol, basically "this is a story about the most amazing interdimensional martial arts tournament... That became a movie without a martial arts tournament."

100%. They could right 40th anniversary on the leg instead of angelbirds and use the same font and it'd be fine. Also, give us a YF-19 in that scheme.
-
They need to revisit those hideous 25th anniversary protoypes and make them a reality.

Ask them to ship it in the brown shipper box it was delivered in instead of putting it in another box.

Lolz, the effort to split up the buying talk has failed.
-
Maybe try the lavender color where it's white and make the pink areas dark red.
-
LoL... Can't get behind this.

A friendly reminder that there's another thread for conversations about buying the toys, stores selling it, etc. People shouldn't be posting store info in both threads. This thread is about the toy, not the buying experience.

That conversation has a dedicated thread

Get your Delta out of this thread! We're remembering better times here.

I can't really help but I can offer a bit of solidarity. When my 1/8 VF-1S bust arrived, there was a piece on the collar that had popped free during shipping. I reached out to them and inquired if I needed to use a special adhesive since I wasn't sure what materials were involved. I never received a response. Fortunately, good ol' super glue did the trick for me. I hope someone a little more electrically inclined can offer you some pointers to resolve your issues since I don't think you'd have recourse with Kid's Logic one way or the other.
