Were they different at the end of the series then they were in the beginning (clearly they're both different from where we left them at Macross)? Edit: WINSE? What am I 2 now?

MacZero doesn't look to be coming over, I wouldn't expect another Macross to do so either.

I'm not saying anyone is jumping the gun here, but aren't you all jumping the gun? The price will decline and you know you're all going to own one when you find it for sale 50% off at some point... and at that point you're probably going to think it's a good enough toy. I mean, isn't that par for how these Toynami's go? Besides, we don't know how it's engineered yet, we don't know if it has any gimmicks, and while it's safe to assume it won't be the strongest thing in the world we already know it's more poseable than the old Gakken (where the Singapore fetches $200+ and the Japan catches about $400). I'm going to buy one, I'll probably pay full price for the Scott one just to know I'll never be like the people searching for a Scott Alpha now, and I'll probably open it with high expectations despite the fact Toynami let me down so much on those Alphas. I also don't think you'll be seeing anyone else make Ride Armors for quite a while... if ever... though I'd love to be proven wrong. In the meantime Toynami is stating only 10K runs this time... do you think they'll stick to it?

Honestly though, they took the only bright color out of that GBP and now it's an absolutely boring color scheme that sells like a brick. What they should have done all along was use a camo scheme that mirrored the LV2 which could have included plenty of green... heck, they could have gone with an all sorts of green camo and it would have been better than the boring brown. I really like the splash of yellow on this version because it helps to avoid that but I agree with everyone else here, the green isn't doing much. Will I still buy it? Heck yeah.

Wait a minute, then it'd be a Mac7 Sound Force GBP! I like the idea though but here's another take, how about the shoulder compartments open up and then you could slide a boom box out! Eh, maybe that's too 80s .

Actually, it makes more sense pointed upward. You would grab it with your other arm. It's also pointing upward on all the examples on the box and if it had a strap it would dangle upward also. So, beyond that, I guess it's all a matter of taste. I guess another question is, why is my Max left-handed? That's just for the sake of the pic .

Yeah, that TV show is hella dumb! Going on the Internet, finding a site dedicated to it, then fighting the mods about the merchandise for it is totally smart though.

It doesn't walk but I coulda sworn the TV version's head turned during the daedalus attack. I also thought the legs were shown to bend very slightly at the knee area when the SDF-1 was flying in DYRL. Both are distant memories and can easily be wrong.

These are on the long list of things waiting to make it onto my website. They're the legitimate European release of the Gakken Ride Armor figures. They are transformable from hideous bike and rider who can't ride it to hideous ride armor.
