  1. Yeah, my Mega House review is going up in a couple days if work doesn't get too crazy. Then, if all goes well I'll get my Legioss/Tread early next week and have a review up shortly thereafter. Another good thing about the blue guy, it seems like the ones that weren't preordered aren't exactly flying off the shelves so you might see some deep discounts in a few months.
  2. I'm guessing you don't have to worry too much about trying to grab a blue one right away. From the look of it, a lot of people are going to buy this, realize it's floppy, realize it's ill-proportioned, and realize they could use that money for something else and sell these quick just hoping not to lose too much. The green and reds might be a bit of a different story.
  3. That's easy, the VF-11B is actually going to happen and no one wants to piss Yamato off by making it seem like the beans got spilled here prematurely.
  4. If this thing arrives in good shape overdrive-inc may just become one of my new go-to places. The price was fantastic and it shipped within a few days of word of its release. Fantastic.
  5. Wow, drama. I wonder if there's any chance Yamato will do something like "Due to overwhelming fan response a second window will be opened" or something like that. Meh, who knows.
  6. I got my processing notification also... wonder what that means?
  7. Oh man, I was just about to rush to eBay!!!!
  8. They almost have the pic I wanted but for some reason they pulled the Tread wings in The Legioss looks horrid in soldier mode but fighter mode is growing on me. You can tell fighter mode is floppy though and man, the view from behind is worse than hideous.
  9. Yes, I always find that Autobot insignia distracting but I figured that's 'cause I was always more of a Robotech/Macross fan. That said, it just doesn't feel like Jetfire without it. Have you considered just replacing the skull emblem with the autobot insignia (on the heatshield)? I would say either do that or use a smaller more tasteful autobot emblem on the nosecone.
  10. I think the stickers are nice but you're missing the autobot sticker on the nose! The gold isn't my thing but it does strike me as "transformery" for some reason.
  11. That wasn't the mode I was talking about but that's always a cool pose. I guess that'd be Legioss in soldier mode with the Tread in some sort of diver mode.
  12. LOL, wouldn't that look like the tread was humping the legioss? I wanna see a pic of the the quasi Diver mode where the tread's legs are swung out but otherwise the legioss and tread are still in combined fighter mode.
  13. The Beagle/Toynami easily looks the best but rumored price is insane. The MH and the CMs is 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, it depends on what you value most. CMs is a much cooler design but is smaller and figidity (especially in bike mode). The MH has better color but less detail and an oddly proportioned rider and a Lego-like transformation. Both are pretty reliant on the stands they come with.
  14. If you never touch the hands you might be alright. Also take extreme caution with the front landing gear's door as there's a little piece of plastic that maintains its ability to stay closed and can easily be broken or bent. Beyond that you're looking at elevated odds of getting a lemon but not so elevated like you need to feel like you have a 50/50 chance of getting crap. Chances are you'll get one that will be decent enough... but there are chances you won't. Of all the ones I've owned only one had a limb fall off on its own accord, I had another that had crooked landing gears, and another that had the peg on the arm affixed to the slot in the leg. You'll probably also have a crooked head :/
  15. I imagine the red will be on eBay at the end of April. I believe CMs was dropping the greeny mid April and red at the end of April at TRU.
  16. The Beagle CVR Armor doesn't look removeable to me. You can see two screw holes in the back of the chest armor and one screw hole in the waist armor.
  17. I doubt it'd be $60, that'd put it in at less than the CMs! Maybe that's what's happening here though. People are looking at it and thinking "Man, that's ten times as cool as the CMs toy! Oh crap, it'll probably be 10x as much!"
  18. I would think it must be easily removeable since it doesn't look attached in soldier. I'm hoping people just always show it with the arm attached because of the landing gears. They say it has hardly any diecast so chances are the joints will last much longer than they do with the Toynami. You also won't have the crooked head Toynamis have if the pics are any indication... and all it took for CMs to make that happens was to make it so the head couldn't turn...
  19. I hope over-drive-inc ships quickly. I'm gonna go crazy with pics in my review and get it up as quickly as possible. Ugh, I paid the $250+ and I can guarantee I would never spend any money on a vinyl monster toy. I'm hoping that's a very vintage collectible if people are paying that much. There's always a premium to pay on vintage stuff.
  20. My problem is the disconnect between the price and the look. You're supposed to pay more for super-detailed figures that look great and realistic and not-so-much toy-like. Toys that look like toys, meaning big departures from the original show and less intricate parts, are supposed to be cheaper. The price of this CMs offering makes me expect superb detail and dead-on accuracy but the toy itself makes me expect a price that I would pay and not feel so bad if I broke it fighting imaginary Inbit around my office.
  21. NOOOOOoO!!!OOOO!!OO! I may want to sell my some day and want them to be worth something!
  22. Not so much mistransformed (although kinda), it looks like he just removed it from the package and plopped it down and took a pic. Like the tread with its head in its chest, it looks like it's tweaked in such a way as to keep it from being broken in the package during shipping. The back wings are just left folded outward. If I had to guess, i'd say this is another symptom of the above (packaging the toy in such a way as to make it most safe). I assumed the hands were attached and folded inward and that in order to make it into full soldier mode you have to flip the hands out and fold the wings in. Right now it's transformed into "Safe for shipping" mode.
