website exclusives are not hard to get, they just suck because you pay more for them because no one wants to mark them down below the website price. You end up having to pay full retail, plus a mark-up that covers shipping the item once, plus a mark up for profit.

How can we answer until the new Yamato VF-0S and Bandai VF-25S are released? What if either one proves to have huge problems?

I figured they'd save the black male ride armors for event exclusives but maybe since Mega House did there Dark Ride Armor as an exclusive CMs didn't want to look like they were copying the idea... That and it's probably more economically sensible not to make them 100 a piece exclusives like just about everything else they made has been. Needless to say, I'll grab one of each. I hope they reissue Stig and Ley with their 2nd edition improvements also (sturdier wind screens and metal swing arm locks).

Each shop varies but usually they're very lenient on cancelling preorders. I can't speak for Overdrive personally but they've worked with me on lots of stuff so I wouldn't worry.

So are these high quality knock-offs made from existing Roy VF-1S toys? That's what it sounds like...

They came with the Yamato 1/48 GBP, they detachable parts I found kind of annoying that you would slide into the side of the Battroid so it didn't have a big gap when viewed from the side. It does make the battroid look a lot better.

I see the Bandai DX VF-25 haters don't like to let the people who are okay with the VF-25 be the only ones who seem petty...

Ya know, I'm not bowled over by fighter mode either. I'll buy it, but I think I liked the 21 when I saw it's initial mock-ups more. The tailfins do make it look a little less aggressive.

Hmmmm, this is dangerous. People defending the VF-25 are going to start making huge stinks about slight problems with the VF-11B.... EDIT - that said, if you do a lineart comparison I'd be pretty interested to see where this bad boy takes liberties ('cause I'm sure it does)

Seriously, I mean just imagine how not flush the legs will be in fighter mode. ZOMG... Yamato would make this so much better! The size isn't quite as big as I'd like but who knows how it's being measured just yet. If it's WHAM SDF-1 size I'll be a little sad, hopefully it's bigger.

Articulation looks really good but I suppose it should be with all those parts being swapped.

To be fair, the other dead give away is that if you got the Mega House it will have a giraffe neck.

I've submitted my vote, I own both and narrowly prefer the 1/60 v2. I really hope that Yamato is able to make some tweaks going forward so that the shoulders cracking isn't such a prevalent fear.

Hey, that's why I said what was "supposed" to be released this month. I have no real expectation that we'll see the MPC Beta this month but I've got one preordered and I promise that when it does rear its head I'll have it on my site within a week. EDIT - You know what would suck for me? If the Beagle is released one week before the MPC Beta. That would mean I'd get both toys at the same time and have to decide which one to review first.... Man, that'd be a tough decision.
