    You're reading it wrong. I said that if Sony wanted more Robotech they would have supported Academy... As in, no crowd funding.

    Unicron was a truly impressive piece. I was able to get an extra MP-10G that I'm going to list for trade when I get home.

    Yep, it was, they announced some new resin statues, they had the MEPToys guy there so he was able to talk about the things he wants to make and that Breetai is shipping soon. They ended saying that Sony had requested new material so they were hoping to have a bigger announcement in the next 18 months. Seems odd that Sony didn't support Robotech Academy if it wanted something new.

    It is the Arcadia and those are production test shots so it is pretty much ready to go... Seems like we'll be getting pricing and release info very soon.

    Unicron toys sell poorly so they're trying to take the risk out of making it. The traditional model would be that a manufacturer considered something and the accountants say "no" and no one outside the company hears about it. In this case, the accountants said no but someone loves it enough to keep the dream alive another way. I'm not sure what the problem is... You can always not support it.

    After years of very little painted on detail, I'm okay with the pendulum swinging too far the other way for a bit.
