i wasnt as much scared as visually freaked there is a difference, pyramid head was much more imposing on the big screen. My wife and i both let out an evil laugh when he appeared. NOONE in the theatre here knew it was based on a video game and they all loved it.. This type of movie didnt exactly follow the usual horror formula. It did what silent hill does best, it doesnt give you time to figure out whats going on. It also gives yu a sense of apprehension more than fear. that ending also wrks better than the game ending would have for a movie audience, though i was wondering if they were going to go with the games "god resurrection" story or not. in a way im glad they didnt since it would have been tougher to do in a 2 hour film.

*PARTIAL SPOILER*I like the ending. 1 it leaves it open for more stories, possible games. 2 if you play the first game poorly the end for that is the character dying in the jeep and the whole thing was in his head. The movies ending is a nod to the poor game ending. No rose didnt die in the jeep crash from the beginning. But this ending also explains how the towns influence is starting to spread in the games. I think it fits perfectly within the Silent Hill mythos. Nt every ending has t have a blue sky.

Seen it and it ROCKS! Where RE just had hints f the game in the movie this movie IS the game story. Its gruesome and freaky. I was geeking out for the whole movie from the first strum of the Mandolin for the opening theme to the closing credits. They did tweak the story to be able to work in movie form but they didnt do anything that takes it away from the premise setup in the game. This is a must see. Someone finally got a Video game to Movie conversion RIGHT!

lol Battletech = RPG= Doesnt count here. One thing that alt of us do here is try t keep things screen accurate jade you knw that. True a rail gun wouldnt produce metal to metal friction but what about the massive amount of air friction from a projectile that large. Either way for me the on screen evidence from Macross TV, DYRL and M0 all show that it uses a chemicle projectile not magnetic. PLUS its LTSO's model so he can paint it however he wants.

What RPG did you get that info out of? Watch DYRL and Macorss 0 for all the main gun smoke you can handle coming from this beast. You even see the brass casing slam into the deck in M0

actually thats about how it would look after repeated use. the paint would cook right off and the edges would get a nice sheen to them. I have yet to see bright metal on any armor made of steel. even aluminum is a dull grey color and not bright silver.

Excellent work. I like the sheen you have on it and the scorching at the end of the missile arms.

I have swapped the wing hinges with a Fighter kits wings and i can honestly say that Hase made the wings in batt mode to small. It loks much better with the longer true scale fighter wings on it. Also unlike the VF1 in battroid mode this battroid is supposed to have its wings overlap so there are no problems with the larger wings there either.
