  1. well one says apple is here and the one next to it says windows is ready.
  2. tamiya clear green would work fine for puddled coolant.
  3. That is one EXPENSIVE repaint.
  4. Luke come on ill need time to recover from the purchase of the SV Give me about a year and make it a VF-0S or A and you gt a deal BTW the VF-0D isnt bad either and probably much easier t make fly. Contemplating gerwalk too from the look of it.
  5. LLamas?
  6. Its Cloud Strife's Bike from the FF7 game.
  7. I showed it to my coworker(the deadsticker) and he is afraid to touch it. I wouldnt let him anyway. It looks like for all the manuverability it has the actual airframe is very forgiving. Also the canards and VT allow more opportunity to get out of stall conditions.
  8. I thought it was The Rock or Armageddon.
  9. the bike will have to wait it is nowhere near finished yet. Can you guess where its from?
  10. Threw this together yesterday. Fun kit overall and nt too involved to make it look good.
  11. Yeah they are fixed wing and external propeller. I think they make them "in house" with their own equipment. The ones i saw loked like they were made of regular styrofoam. A little clunky but they flew. I also know of someone who has a foam one like the foam you used but the wings are still fixed its abut 2/3 the size of the sv. From what i see around here the SV-51 would be considered LARGE for a park flyer. The largest park one i have seen is 1/32 scale at the most.
  12. I was actually thinking of making some lightweight tearaway weapons pods for it out of some light paper or something. Id like to get used to flying it "slick" first. I can still utmanuver the 14s though. Its also twice the size of them.
  13. I cant wait to harass the parkflyer F-14s here.
  14. FRACK ME WITH A FORK! Luke i cannot wait to take delivery of mine. My wife saw the vid and she was impressed. That is WAY more manuverable than the first. I also noticed a few times that it turned inside its length on a few banks. This will impress. Also its actually an easy airframe to keep track of direction since it has such an unusual fuselage. The brick has been shat ill tell you that much. BTW: The triumphant music in the video really gives a feeling of accomplishment about the project.
  15. I usually paint the verniers on my valks anyway so i dnt use the minus decals.
  16. If he could get a working gerwalk out f it that wuld be scary. but in this versin its impossible. All the electronics and servos are where the VTOL fans are located behind the cockpit. That would be a sight at an RC airshow though. Once gerwalk is figured out it wouldnt be to far a stretch fr battroid either.
  17. Yeah thats 3 deadsticks n RC. ELECTRIC RC!
  18. As charlie brown would say. AARRRRRRGGGGG! A guy i work with so wants t see this. He doesnt think it will be flyable. Even though he saw the proto fly. I wont let him fly it though. He cant fly ONE day without getting 3 deadsticks at a minimum.
  19. OH MY GOD That is even more impressive than the balsa prototype. The whole airframe is a contrl surface with all the moveables spread out like that. I wouldnt be suprised if that is now a highly stable and controlable aircraft.
  20. I havnt got anywhere near painting yet. Im still figuring out how to get the tail fin assembly swappable so i can go between boster and no booster. I also fit the wings from a fighter kit onto it so the wing weapons can be put on. I just need to get some pins for it now
  21. Mine looks like yellowed plastic too. The plastic is also very soft and almost vinyl like.Other than that the kit is falling together like a dream. Its a snap fit to boot. I never thought id build a HASEGAWA snap kit. a little liquid cement on the seams and bam its done. The seams are good too they clean un very easily compared to the VF-1 battroid.
  22. True Im going to see if i can get ANOTHER gepard for spares in the future and to reconstitute the other one.
  23. P5 i store them where they will fit. The M1 lives on the floor in my hbby room and the 1/16 ones are small enough to live on shelves. Sad news though MY WONDERFUL cat decided to get on the shelf with the 2 gepards. IT COLLAPSED THE SHELF. one gepard is suffering a smashed turret and the ther has 2 snapped axles on the roadwheels and various surface cracks all over it. Rob it looks like ill need to cann the one for some parts to get mine back up
  24. This is hogging all my workspace. Its getting sme detailing and a repaint to the NATO 3 color scheme from the all too common desert sand.
  25. Wont be me this time P5 i wont be building it until after the new year at the earliest.
