still not so sure an RVF version of a 171 will be enough for me to buy one.. Kinda feels like a quick slap together money grab to me! Did this variant ever appear in the Frontier series at all?? I honestly cannot remember seeing it.

I'd have to agree with Vi-RS on this one.. Cant really see why they would ever want to go back to the 1/48's anyways.. I never owned any 1/48's myself, my cousin had a few and when put side by side against the v2 1/60's they were simply no match at all in terms of build quality, refinement and proportions.. The 1/48 line would require a complete re-design as did the v1 1/60 line got and I just couldn't see Arcadia ever wanting to commit the resources / funds required towards such a project.. And besides could you imagine how much larger our display cabinets would have to be in order to fit a whole new line of Valk's!?!? it'd be crazy shiz!

buying anything Bandai is like sleeping with your ex.. You know you want to but its not so easy to achieve.. Then if / when you do it you love it! but then hate yourself for doing it.. And then the cycle starts all over again! Always feels like a love / hate relationship kinda situation.. Right at this moment im in the "love" phase with my new Lucifer but then when I'll find something else Bandai I want & then I'll hate em for it..

Recently picked up a renewal VF-27y in mint condition for quite cheap! Box had a few little scuffs on it.. Made a small modification to the stand so I can display it with the gun sitting level underneath. Displaying it with the green canopy and without super parts.. Looks cleaner and shows off its sexy lines better! Really loving the look of the Lucifer!

yes there is but you can option the less "clowny" looking face with a small replacement insert. Which is what I prefer so I fitted it!

Well im happy!!! my Basara VF-19 finally arrived so im definitely gonna pass the Arcadia re-issue..

I'd have to say.. VF-11C re-issue (but plz fix cockpit fit) VF-4 alternate colors VF-1J Max & Milia re-issues (purely based on pricing) on the reserve list only as it was just released.. YF-19 alternate colors (and I don't mean "Double Nuts" and or "Bird of Prey") something different would be nice!

I also have both of these and the Arcadia leaves the Yamato in the dust!! so.. anyone wanna buy my Yamato Double Nuts!?!? will sell for good price!

YF-30 looks ok in fighter mode but that thing that sticks out the top when in gerwalk and battroid modes looks quite silly and out of place.. I'd probably only ever display it in fighter more if I end up buying one.. Or I might just give this one a miss especially at the price they're gonna be asking for it..

To me Gerwalk is one of those hit & miss modes for some Valkyrie.. The VF-1 Valks simply nail it! Infact it nails all 3 modes fantastically! VF-1 in Gerwalk is one of my all time fav modes as it best blends elements of all three modes so perfectly and never looks like a midway compromise. The VF-0 is quite good in all its 3 modes as its closely similar in looks and build to the VF-1. The VF-11, YF-19, VF19 & VF-25 look somewhat ok in Gerwalk but look sensational in Fighter & Battroid modes! While the VF-4 only looks good in Fighter mode and utterly terrible in Gerwalk & Battroid modes which I think is mostly due to its build complexity that heavily compromises its other modes.. I don't own any VF-17, YF-21, VF-22 & VF-171 as these all look like story gap filler / afterthought Valks.. ok ok maybe with the exception of the YF-21, VF-22.. I might own one some day! yeah I guess it doesn't look tooo bad.. but I never thought the design of the SV-51 ever really fit in its place in the Macross timeline.. it looks far too similar to Macross Frontier Valks (VF-25, 27 & 29) and way too futuristic for the early 2000's.

I had the very same feeling towards the Fire Valkyrie until it was announced that Arcadia was re-issuing it. Ummed and arred about it for a while only as I have the other VF-19 Valks already and thought I should complete the set then all this flurry of discussion came up so I felt compelled to buy one! Was never a big fan of its clashing bright red & yellow color scheme but now has started to grow on me.. glad I finally made the decision to buy one though! Actually looking forward to its arrival!

They are pretty easy to find! After reading this thread I just purchased one about an hour ago! lol! Figured I'd may as well as I had been meaning to pick one up for a while now and I wasn't going to wait for Arcadia's re-release as I dont particularly care much for the sound booster bit. Brand new unopened condition. Was fairly cheap too!

Gotta be just a re-release for sure as the current VF-19 range just don't need any re-working. Still gotta get me a Kai but doubt I will wait for the Arcadia release as there are still plenty new and used examples out there to choose from..

I found that the Arcadia YF-19 missles fit the Yamato Valks easily enough but its not the case with the Yamato missles on the new YF-19.. they require a fair amount of force to get em on. Way too much for my liking..

Gahhhhh she finally arrived not more than 30 minutes ago! And im glad to report nothing broken or missing! I was starting to freak out a little especially after a few people received theirs with damage.. Well anyways.. I fitted her up with a simple weapons load out and straight up on display! Not going to attempt a transformation at this stage, just happy that she's finally in my possession! And looking sexy as along side her sisters! I must say the new design is so much more sleek & refined looking than the earlier YF-19 design.. not that I didn't notice that in all the pics previously posted. Seems to lock up and hold her shape pretty well compared to the older Yamato versions but still feels a little flimsy and fiddly to handle.

holy crap! that's pathetic! I'd be so pissed! Are they using some kind of brittle plastic or what? I saw someone else had a piece of the wing broken completely off theirs!? I have to admit im a little nervous about mine as its still in transit..
