If there is ever a revoltech Qrau that gets released I want that to be on the MW front page. That is news! Yeah so another large toy from bandai and yamato is out, we all expect it, but the little revoltechs are impressive enough to make front page too I think. Nobody thought they'd make anything beyond the vf-1.

Good review. I'm not a fan of part swapping so I think CMs is the path to go for me. Hopefully they fix the easily-breaking windshield. I wish the prices for cms would drop though. If the beagle smash both of them, I'd expect to see demand for the CMs to go down and later be sold at a cheaper price.

Hope it has the balance of Super turbo. All the fans of SF regard that as the most balanced SF. Here is a good link for noobs to street fighter to get them started: http://www.sirlin.net/archive/my-street-fi...deos-from-ccc2/ With 3d models maybe they can include a character edit mode that allows you to resize the muscles ....You know like how you could choose the size of the character in Phantasy Star Online. So if you wanted skinny guile from SFII:World Warrior, you could have that version with faster sonic boom recovery, or the more beefy street fighter alpha guile with big muscles and slow recovery.

Would love to see it done. Macross II is the gundam wing of the macross shows. But I find it one of my fave valks in battroid mode. I bought those banpresto 1/100 so even if it is a small transforming toy, I wouldn't mind.

Bubblegum Crisis Toys

The upgraded priss suit looked like crap in 2040ad. I hope the reviews of this are good. BGC is an old fave anime of mine. The sleek suit design has aged well for a show from the 80s. That and the Qrau fro macross are some of my fave powered suits.- 881 replies

If they ever re-release it I think it would be cool if they included a stand and FP. Who agrees with me? Just seems fair considering the 21 will be, right? And before anyone says, "but then the early buyers will feel bad" well didn't they do this with the 1/72 as well by having the FP versions be generally fixed and include more stuff? (in the case of the yf 21 the early edition had no gunpods!) So what difference does it make? Come on yamato: phase out the "yf-19 with no FP parts" release and start making the YF-19 with FP parts the new standard version. Foldildo will just be seperate item.

Hopefully the reviews are all positive. So when is HG/toynami going to bring them over to the US for sale? Or was that just an unfounded rumour?
-
I hope this means yamato will be forced to do the more rare mecha like variable glaug and what not. Honestly let bandai have the popular valks, and they can start making some of the lesser-known valks like the vf-4 which I can seee people willing to pay a premium for compared to other toys. Aren't you guys sick of vf-1 all the time? The vb-6 was one step in the right direction but as has been said it must not have sold well so they reverted back to more exposed stuff.. Now if things don't sell well you know what that means don't you? They won't take anymore risks doing the unpopular/lesser-known mecha that the hardcore fans wish for and instead choose the ones that have had the most exposure/are the most recognisable by the masses.

Official 1/60 YF-21 News & Picture Thread (ver.2)
1/1 LowViz Lurker replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Not that it'd effect whether I buy it or not, but is the head poseable too? Looks like it does judging by the pics. Looks like someone drooled all over it. No wonder the Bubblegum Crisis Motoslave has so little gloss on it. They ran out of it because they spent it all on the yf-21. -
it's like the 1 millionth time someone says that

Yep I thought this was going to be a new tv series as well.. Like what macross zero was to macross.

Yamato GN-U Non-transforming Macross Action Figures

I see the vf-11 has some beefy hands. -
Finally. The only thing that could top this is news that bandai are going to make LEgioss and TREAD combo from mospeada to take on CMs, toynami, beagle, aoshima etc.
-
Qrau next FFS. And then the vf-11 + rogue zentradi power armour so they an both fight each other.

Thanks for that info. I wonder how limited the dark legioss will be in number? -
Transformers: Animated
1/1 LowViz Lurker replied to terry the lone wolf's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Me too but I don't like how they introduced the dinobots too early. Like they weren't really needed, just that they thought it would be cool to have them in the cartoon with nothing to do, you know what I mean? I think if they had introduced the dinobots as an answer to the decepticon's superior firepower or experience in fighting (from the previous war?) then I would like them more. I want the dinobots to be made out as uncontrollable monster robots who don't take orders from weaker robots and are very stubborn and hard to control. Not as the "cute pet"/light humor robot as we saw in the animated movie. But as a primitive caveman warrior who is used to proving their worth through brute force and ability to take heavy abuse. (so they are not likely to worry about wrecking the place or endangering the humans the way the car robots would since they are so single minded about fighting - I mean think about it: they can create earthquakes with thier feet, and this wouldn't be acceptable to humans who might get injured by that. But it might be a necessary evil if it saves more lives by defeating the decepticons) Because of this lack of discipline (and because they see themselves as seperate from the carbots and want autonomy from them) the dinobots would be called in only as a last resort and then that's it. You leave them alone as wild animals on an island with other beasts. They are too dangerous to have on normal mission where you need teamwork and co-operation. By showing them so early, you weaken the introduction to them. They should instead of introducing them immediately, had an episode where the autobots are getting hammered and losing the fight; are forced to retreat, and it is believed that if they just had more power they could stand a better chance against the veteren decepticons. The dinobots are introduced to answer that problem and the lesson would be that power alone isn't enough if you can barely control it. (which is where the decepticons use that weakness against the autobots in the form of tricking the dinobots to fight against them just like in g1. Due to that one incident, autobots never call on them until there is no other option, or if there is some way to motivate them to come along for the fight: ie promise of many fun things to crush and destroy which makes it easier to persuade them to help ) -

So anyone here planning on still buying the CMs even after all this new news? If you do let us know what it is like when you get one. I was thinking of buying it off you cheap when you are disappointed by it. I don't know if I'll bother displaying combined anyway. Seems like these were only made for robot modes. Yamato should be given the license to make mospeada legioss toys I think. All the experience with valkyries they've had would make doing it easy. Even if it were really expensive I would find some way to get it so long as it didn't crumple into poweder. I wonder what other company will try to make a PT and linkable, lineart-accurate, toy in the future? Toynami's is too fragile to be considered a toy, Aoshima failed to make it stronger, CMs isn't as strict about lineart accuracy, ...so who else is left? -
I'm glad that this regult was done since it proves the others wrong that only vfs are in demand. They must know people want them so they made the choice. I haven't seen anyone say (with a good reason behind it) they wouldn't want non-transforming mecha from macross done in revoltech style yet. It just makes so much sense to me to do the destroids, enemy power armor and the glaug and regult since these never transformed to begin with. When and if they get to a Qrau I want to do the crouching fetal position and have it on a stand in that pose. All the people that don't want the non-transforming macross mecha in revoltech form should (sorry to have to say this but) STFU!1 I have been dying for it to happen, and you are killing chances of these being done. Yeah ok so it is just a ball with two legs, but that is why I like it: it's got no need for hands and is just meant to blow stuff up and hop around like a grasshopper and float in the water if need be. Aliens look unique and don't just copy the good guys in how they fight. Bring on male power armor, qrau, destroids, and zentradi giants (wearing armor) next! (maybe kamjin and britai first, then the grunt zentradi later)

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/images/produ...ge/HPW10018.jpg ^ I actually like that roadbot transformation better than the transformers movie toy Arcee. The wheels should have been put behind her in robot mode not as tit covers.- 881 replies

Toynami made the 1/100 which were decent, but the QC is crap for MPC. They are still are the level yamato were when they made those 1/72 macross plus valks which had the cracking hips and shoulders. It's too scary to touch their mpc. If the ride armour is easy to break, I don't care who was responsible they will both get a bad reputation rather than just one of them imo. Toynami should just be involved with the packaging I think.
