    Great way to look at it. Bandai obviously tries to scalp money from Arcadia. Putting the 29 out around the same time as the 19. Putting out the D wing 30 around the time that the VD-0D is slated. I doubt a Third party would ever do that. And yes, bring on the legioss

    People seem to like CP, but I read that they have problems getting orders in time. But yeah this is common sense for a collectors store. You have to protect that item until it's in their hands or you're losing business.

    If it's a quality product. It deserves support. Being an American who's been pushed around by Harmony Gold, I kind of want a 3rd Party to spit in their eye a bit. It's high time. I respect Arcadia the most. They do a high quality product that is a labor of love, but I don't think any 3P purchases I make will deflect from their sparse release schedule at this point. Bandai is huge, and I'm not that loyal to them to be honest. We all mostly buy multiples here, so buying a 3P that's really cool... Plus there are so many odd ball releases that Arcadia may never get to like the Spartan.

    I'll be totally honest, and I mean no disrespect to any other reviewer, but these are my thoughts. I think Veef would get the most eyeballs. I think he's very knowledgeable too, though his video quality isn't always the best (not a dis just being honest). Jenius is my personal favorite, but since he isn't hooked up with CDX he gets less eyeballs, though he gets a ton of google traffic. I Think he has the best quality and detail. If you compare Veef's and Jenius's review traffic in terms of macross fandom they are comparable and I'm sure there is a lot of overlap. Also you gotta think Veef will get a lot of eyeballs off CDX traffic that would never buy a Macross toy. I wouldn't be buying Macross toys in 2014 if it weren't for Jenius so obviously I'm biased. Me, I'm just a scrappy little guy who likes to talk about toys and does it for fun. I'm not the best by any means. haha. I also get half the eyeballs that Jenius does, and most of my eyes come from here. Exo is also great and obviously going to be knowledgeable about this piece. though he hasn't done a lot of reviews recently. He is also an admin and has access to the Facebook page ect. I do think it should go to a MW reviewer first, though. The more independent the reviewer the better for this piece IMO. You gotta think that Harmony Gold might come knocking at some point yes? A guy like Peaugh will get a lot of views, but how many will buy a 3d party Macross toy? I think he'll get it eventually anyway and still have his fanbase to fall back on regardless. And if he's only going to do it because he can get it first, he shouldn't do it.

    Yeah. Use a proxy and hit up Yahoo Japan or go to TaoBao. I think you can get one for $300ish. Haven't checked in the last few days.

    It's their own mould, that is pretty much an identical copy of the Tak mould. It's like the larger Grimlock KO that's being made. They made it a bit bigger, but the design is virtually identical. They didn't sit down from scratch and work out a unique transformation and articulation, which is where all the hard work exists. I have no problem with KO's, per say, but adding paint doesn't = improvement on the mould. To me this release is more like taking a Takara mould and attaching some 3rd party kits (Chest, Paint/stickers whatever, Leg changes) and then making a unique unit to sell. They are still working off the back of somebody else's work and trying to exploit a market niche for collectors who may want certain changes. I want to call it a "hacked" version. It's not quite a KO, it's not quite a 3rd party or custom but it's a .....frankenPRIME! haha If it works for you by all means by one. It's not like people haven't given Takara plenty of their money in the past haha. It's smart, but it's still a rip off/knock off. It shows the passion people have for these toys.

    Idk, there are tons of areas on all the MPs that could do with more detailed paint. The inside of Grimlocks wings. Heck you could add a lot more detail to Yamato Valks. When you factor out the costs of design and mould creation, it's pretty easy to go back over somebodies work and paint up a few hundred for a tidy profit. haha. I don't see how the original MP-10 is "sad" because of this.

    I put the matrix in and forgot to close the doors all the way. You kinda have to snap it closed. Never noticed a huge chest gap other than that though. The KO looks pretty good... they mostly did pretty minor things that Takara couldn't afford to do, or didn't want to do. Covering a screw hole, painting an area here or there. Its like a mildly customized one with a few "duh" fixes. The huge gaps in the arms of the KO, and the overall "airbrushed" look doesn't cut it for me though. It also seems to have gaps and spaces in Alt mode. I think Rocketpunch mention having to lube the legs to make it transform too? I think it's cool if you want a spare one or if the extra silver paint gets you, but I don't see any major improvements besides the hands, but the hands suck on just about all MPs. I can get a hands upgrade set if it ever bothers me that much. If I was going to spend $150 bucks though I'd get a 10b or something.
