These scales are all crazy. I expected the HMR Monster to be about half the size it is. This is an image of the 1/200 kit next to the Koenig Monster.

Ouch! This is the third time its happened to me recently with USD 300+ Bandai Chogokins (Gaogaigar, Gunbuster and the Monster). I pre-order to avoid scalper prices, and then they end up USD-50-70 less shipped on Ebay. Oh well, you just never know...

Just got my first Yeti stand. I have to say these things are awesome. Very versatile and the quality is second to none. Tamashii, take your Trident stands and scrap 'em. Looking forward to HM-R attachments!

These hull port-thingies didn't have clear parts or openings in this scale; I drilled them out and molded some resin for reflecting the light evenly.

Still trying to decide which LEDs to get between these. https://www.adafruit.com/products/1938 https://www.adafruit.com/products/1655 The RGBs only have 3 colors, while the other is 24 bit? Or can they both produce all colors?

Good point. It does look like a traditional fighter, but the color schemes are hard to describe... Kind of like the 30th anniversary or F-1 colors.

Has anyone seen a VF-31 with Alto/Hikaru color scheme? 12 eps in and I'm still not bonding with Hayate's shade of blue. Guess I'm too old fashioned.

Cool, the 5 V version can run on input of 5-16V. That should make it work with my setup, because I use a variable 12v DC adapter. So I dont have to worry about accidentally burning the 5V Trinket. Correct?

The first Super Parts to my memory came around ep 7, and they had Sound Boosters as well. So I wonder if it will be one package as extra parts, or if they will drag it out.

I recast the second bridge with clear resin to imitate some of the lager 1/500 scale kits. There are actually some big bubbles, but the LED conceals them. I got a better cast on the third attempt. This one's a keeper.

My thoughts exactly. That's not real die-cast. But explain difference between forged and cast. Are they mixing plastic with the "die-cast".

I'll get that book if its nube friendly. Cant make heads or tails of the How To's on their site. I think they expect people have a history with Arduino, et al.

The shade of blue looks a bit lighter in the video compared to the images. I have a feeling this will be the most expensive valk accessory ever.

Amazing. Looking forward to it. If you could add a "beginners" Intro to this dealing with setting up the Adafruit and just one neopixel , then we go on from there to your contents. That would be great!

This isn't working for me. The sculpt is too gaudy and the blue is too dark. Let's see if it grows on us.

My first experience with airbrushing. Beautiful tool... if I can get the thing to just spray evenly. My 9 yr old daughter's Beargal. I'm under a lot of pressure here to not screw it up!
