    I also started to watch My dress up darling and bought the manga after watching a couple of episodes. I’m hooked. Sadly volume 3 is currently sold out in my country so I have to wait for a reprint before diving in. Really looking forward to Rising of the Shield Hero season 2 in April.

    I’m still amazed/confused that we will have four support flyers in the Seed/Destiny/Astray line and none of it is the Skygrasper.

    Which one was the fourth release. I’m only aware of the regular one, the Kai and the Kai alternative strike version. Was it a rerelease of one of the three versions?

    To me the Optimus Prime figure gives off more of an Orion Pax vibe. Young and cheerful.

    I hope you’re right. I’m still curious what a Shockwave would look like. It most likely would have an eyepatch to replicate the mono eye (which I like) and be super busty due to the chest shape in robot mode (which I don’t like).

    Looks like Kotobukia is doing Transformers now. Hope this line is doing well and we see a Shockwave out of this line (and Galvatron and Cyclonus too).     Got thrown off by the 5PM announcement. Impossible to order at amiami. Loaded the page a couple of seconds before 5PM saw the order button but it was sold out before the system could add it to my cart. -.- Well I guess no vacation in the end of July and I will try to get one on release day. 😢

    I would love to get the Gundams from Build Fighters Try in the Metal Build line (I would take a Wing Gundam Fenice).

    That to the right looks like a Lego mech to me. The one of the left looks like the Strike with some sort of modification. I think KumaStyle made a video review about the MS Nu Gundam where he mentions the size.

    I think it is a problem of contrast. The gold markings just don’t pop as much as white ones would. I will reserve final judgement until I have it in hand.

    @sqidd my understanding is that the asymmetric version with the six Fin Funnels in the shape of an „A“ over the left shoulder is the „correct“ look. However the piece is expensive so I would go with the look you prefer. I prefer the asymmetric look so I would go with that one. [edit:] Also the Sazabi and the Hi-Nu both have six Funnels each. So six seems to be the magic number.

    I see, at first i thought this was a variant of the Abyss Gundam due to the color.

    Not only did they not improve it got worse as time went by. Not really a fan of the Magic Square MO but NewAge is putting out solid figures. I hold their releases in high regards Eeven after I found out that their Nemesis Prime is a remold of the Ultra Magnus and not a repaint of Optimus Prime.

    I got Iron Factory Kage Shishimaru and I think I’m done with Iron Factory. Janky tolerances, a transformation that does a lot but achieves little (god forbid parts have a dedicated place where they can lock in place). It is just a lackluster experience. And at least their Cyclonus and Galvatron were fun action figures which is missing from Kage Shishimaru mostly due to parts blocking the movements and joints that are hard to move. During the week I played with IF Cliffjumper and all the issues I described are still present but not as exaggerated. So they haven’t improved in the last couple of years. On the contrary. NewAge is putting out a much superior product.

    I already paid for mine at AE. I really hope they fix all the issues till then.

    It could also be the case that Bandai did skip a bunch of quality control steps because the thought they had the design down to a T. Like skipping test shots and other procedures because they are so similar. In the end the only thing we could check for ourselves would be the country of origin.

    Without a doubt. I was just interested why there seems to be sich a discrepancy between the VF-31 and the VF-31AX since it is a proven design and the VF-31 Siegfrieds from the show where pretty much perfect from a QC standpoint.
