I picked up SHOUT's DVD set of the final 33 episodes of G1 at a Target today. $20 for season 3 & 4 on 4 discs-not bad.

Peg is MW's unofficial moniker for Drift, the best TF ever made. EVER.
-
The new TFs are hitting the stores here, and all I got was Seaspray and Legends Ravage. No Peg or Thrust yet, and no sign of the new Scouts either. Passed up on WFC Prime and Bumblebee and the new Hunt for the Decepticon deluxes. I finally got to see Leader Starscream, and his bot mode looks very imposing indeed. I ended up passing on him also, since his alt mode just doesn't do it for me.

I found this site while searching for Yuzo Koshiro's stuff: Streets of Rage Online. Being a big fan of the series, I had to try out the SoR Remake under the fan games section-it's REALLY good! Fan drawn cutscenes, multi-path gameplay, and the return of Adam (complete with remade sprites just for him). Also check out the work done on SoR IV, it looks very promising!

They call it Elegy, nice. Ill pass on these- Im content with my deluxe sized conehead seekers. And they didnt cost me an arm and a leg like these "MP"s will.

Some great news from the panels today: Hasbro Panel I'm excited about the Jazz figure, but I'm not sure if it's from Generations or WFC.
-
Yeesh. That alt mode looks like an WWII experiment gone wrong. Terradive and Tomahawk look decent though. Tomahawk reminds me of a beefed up Russian Havoc.
-
Peg's cool and all, but I'm more excited about Tomahawk and Terradive (bot mode's got a Trident-woot!)in Wave 3.

Loving it - two awe-inspiring builds of this monster in one month. Thanks for showing it off, vf_1s, because it's definitely a piece of art.

Yep, I never had an NES, but I always played Zanac at my friend's house. I never beat that game either! Heh, I remember Silkworm. Many a quarter did it take from me. My cousin and I always had to flip a coin to see who gets to play as the chopper. During the 16-bit era my faves included the Phantasy Star series and the Shinobi games, especially the last one.

Speaking of Compile, somewhere in the deep recesses of my memories lies a nagging urge to beat Power Strike (Aleste)for my SMS. I never did beat that game.

I got a chance to do some touch-ups and some experimentation with TFA Arcee and Henkei Sunstreaker this week. With Arcee I outlined the eyes and added color to her lips and chin: Close up 1 Close up 2 Body I was afraid to do any more to her as I'd probably screw it up. I definitely like her a lot more now with those facial features coming out. Next comes my first attempt with dye and a TF. This is what Sunstreaker looks like out of the package:Undyed SS. I never did like the gray parts and vowed to do something about it whenever I had the time. I also placed an order with Reprolabels during the interim. Here are the results: Before After Side View 1 Side View 2 Front View Underside Front View (Bot) 3/4 View Bot Rear View (Bot) The twins The twins (alt) Dying is messy and takes some time, but it turned out to be well worth it!

Impossible Toys' Valkyrie: I'm glad it's finally being made, but a couple of tweaks to the main body would've made it more feminine. It just seems to lack a certain "grace" if that makes any sense. I guess I should just be happy that G1's femme-bot is finally getting a figure.

I can't wait for Kaneda and his bike to get here. There's a supposed limited edition set of parts floating out there with additional stickers and optional parts for the bike. Does anyone have any info on the differences between the optional parts and the stock parts? -
Interesting, I've been itching to see what Banzai-Tron will look like. And from the wave descriptions, it looks like Cybertron Bumblebee won't be too hard to find. EDIT: Nevermind. Behold, Banzai-Tron. I guess a repaint was inevitable. I was just hoping for a new sculpt.

Remember when Takara announced a new Masterpiece toy that was significant to the 2010 story arc? Then fans hoped it would mean a Hot Rod or even a Galvatron MP. Well I just had to laugh when I read about this: Dead OP. I just really hope this wasn't the MP Takara meant.
-
Not bad, it doesn't look like it's changed much from the concept drawings.
-
Yup, IIRC the mammoth was the central piece for that combiner. I remember the bot mode looking like it was ripped from G1 designs. Speaking of combiners, not too long ago I read that iGear is going to do a Predaking toy but I haven't heard anything new about it. An updated Predaking would be supreme.

Ahhh, gotcha. Thanks! They're made for the Energon sculpt of Bruticus, but at this rate FP might as well have made it from the ground up.

Yeah, the arm joints on mine are exceptionally tight also. They were so tight that it took me some time to figure out the elbows were double jointed. Another issue mine has deals with the small front wheels that swing upward on the hips. They're so loose that they easily pop outwards on their stems, leaving them out in the open to be snapped off. I don't even see why they have to pop outwards in the first place. I hope my replacement will be ok because I do really like Prime with a lance and shield. BTW, mine came with a small blue piece that sorta looks like a grated visor, but I can't figure out how it attaches. As for the two-tone Blast-Off, maybe it's a tribute to G2's wacky colors?
