That first poster sucks. The perspective is insane, that street must be the width of a football field aboiut a quarter of a mile down the road. Whoever put it together didn't care that even the untrained eye is strained when you mess with perspective like that. Sad to see such crap associated with this movie.

Small Gods is still my favorite book ever and, IMHO, a bad Pratchett novel is better than just about anyone else's good one. Like Fort Max said: At least he's upbeat about it. There's something terribly Pratchettian about his statement. He's a master of gallows humor.

I remember Vasteel very well. It was an awesome game. My friend imported it from Japan so we had no idea what the hell the storyline was, just how to control the mechs and kick some ass. I really likes the strategy control for the big picture, but then balls out fighting for the mech battles. Awesomeness. I so spent many hours playing this game. There were soooo many mecha to choose from and build.

I sure do hope they try to go for better visual continuity if they decide to hand-draw certain scenes with the VFs. One thing I absolutely HATED about M0 was when it transitioned from highly detailed CGI to kind of messy hand-drawn cels for the mecha. Not so tight.

Thats incredibly odd, since I haven't heard of that happening before. Refresh my memory- Did you get the magic key set as well? If one of those three pieces slipped loose at some point it can affect the whole system. Make sure those are all firmly in place, as well. Otherwise, I recommend downloading a torrent of the DVD disc and burning an extra copy.

I don't know if its fan-art, since its not based on a pre-existing subject. Either or, I'll pass. While its neat at first glance, after a second or two you see some really bad photochopping, including resolution issues of the composite parts and some blending problems.

I don't know. One thing that bugs me about the VF-25 in battroid mode is that it looks too much like it's sucking in its gut. Is it having a mid-life crisis?

Considering how small these are, and the cost, I'm willing to put up with multiple cannons and the lack of the leg being able to close with the gun in it. Think of the bad-ass poses you can do with these things!!! My wife's gonna be pissed. It toook me so long to explain how/why units 1, 2 and Zero are actually different. Now I'm going to get another 1 and 2!!! She'll flip lids!

One thing to note: These are all Hebrew Bible/Old Testament characters. Actually, there have been daily comic strips of Bible stories in newspapers for decades. Making a comic of Old Testament stories isn't anything new. Reinterpreting the Old Testaments is always an interesting prospect, as itself is mostly a reinterpretation of older folklore. But Rob Leifeld still sucks, though.

I just had the displeasure of watching this movie (for free, thank the gods). Wow. That was a terrible, terrible film.
