  1. Apparently it's from Grant Morrison's Nameless
  2. I've gotten it for about a month now. I know.. I really shouldn't support the Robotech license... but still, I kinda wanted one. It's actually not bad. A bit like those Star Wars Marching speakers. You can link several up to dance together too if you'd like. If you guys wanna know anything, I can try to answer them when I get off work.
  3. What barurutor said is absolutely true. DX Chogokin prices here are crazy high here, which is why most of us simply import it (assuming we get through the mad rush). That being said, seeing as you're visiting Singapore, and I have a spare RVF-25 with Super Parts to let go (it's been boxed up long ago, but I just never got around to selling it), do let me know if you're interested, and we could work something out.
  4. Really want this because I own all of the Yamatos.. but pity it's just a static Vinyl kit...a major minus for me... And one I'll have to paint myself too, which I sorely lack the skills for...(though I could just coat a base, and spray an even coat with can since it's mostly black, grey and white).
  5. I just picked up mine from a local hobby shop recently, and took it out for a spin. It is in my humble opinion the best 1/12 Scopedog toy ever made.. possibly the best Scopedog ever, but I don't have the other toy lines to compare it with. I usually detest the very lousy articulation 3A and ThreeZero figures have, but given the design of the Scopedog, I gotta say this blew me away. I could actually have him hold the rifle with BOTH hands (albeit via the foldable handle bar). The joints are nicely ratcheted and tight as with all threezero toys, and his fingers are all individually articulated and pretty tight, keeping a firm grip on the machine gun (which by the way, comes with an actual adjustable fabric rifle sling!). I hope to have a little more play time with him to see if I can get him to squat down in dog mode or whatever it's called (I'm not the most avid fan, but I love the design and the lore enough) Wonder if the Yamato parts can fit onto this big boy... at least the weapons expansion pack I got will fit nicely for sure.
  6. From my understanding, the paint guns were a timed exclusive (i.e. Order before a certain date to get it) Hence the 2 versions.
  7. Better make it 3 games. It was featured in Super Robot Wars BX
  8. I think he's just disappointed that the Arcadia (having never owned a Yamato), was very lacking in diecast, since he mentioned about the lack of heft. Perhaps he's more accustomed to something akin to a DX Chogokin? Also while I haven't gotten the Arcadia VF-1s, I do own a Yamato, and it is possible to get a firm grip on the gunpod. You just need to have ensure it's slotted into the palms properly, before closing the fingers.
  9. The bigger problem now is, how does one even get an order with the bonus accessories, since they're Tamashii Web shop bonus and this being a regular retail release?
  10. Rubber? Not even on a cold day in hell. That crap will wear out so fast... Cloth, while nice (see Yamato one) is something Bandai seems to shun away from, probably a cost issue when it comes to mass production. As to whether it can beat the Revoltech, I'd wager it definitely will. the RD line tends to favour ABS over PVC, which make the figures look more like a proper mecha, whereas the Revoltech Ingram used a lot of PVC, giving it a gummy look, not to mention eventually leaking plasticizer after it's been in my cabinet for so many years.
  11. That DOES look very bad ass. Good thing the 0S is sold out now Thank you, whoever it was that bought the last piece, so I can save more money. Anyway, if they do make a Ghost set, I guess I'll just not have a naked VF-0S. The thing about the Ghost set is that it always felt a bit too much to have the ghost sitting on the plane (and yet I'm totally cool with the Strike / Super parts for the VF-1).
  12. Damn you, enabler! Where am I gonna find the space to display another huge ass VF-0, huh? I kid. I'm not a very big fan of the ghost set though. Always been fond of only the naked VF-0 and the RA set. As it is though, the 0D, 0A, 2 0S and my numerous other pieces already eat up a lot of space... Not sure I can validate getting another one, not to mention having to find a space to keep the huge box as well.
  13. Somewhat tempted to get a 3rd, just to have 1 naked, 1 in fighter, and 1 in Reactive armor.

Unless you count the suspiciously small ones used for target practice in the tutorial of Macross 30
  15. For some reason, after playing Leynos 2 (my introduction to the series) back on the Saturn, I could never quite picture the AS looking like that. Same goes for the Valken.

Which Act stand was it? My understanding is that you need an Act 5 for mecha figures. Also why is it bad?
  17. Yeah, realistically speaking, this is what I am afraid of. Though I was rather surprised by the amont of articulation on their Matrix APU that I got recently. But I do wish they would stop making 1/12 scale fabric costume pilots. Those are always garbage tier. Price will really depends on where you're buying from, but I guessing it'd be closer to 300USD for regular retail, and maybe 350 USD for a threezero store direct exclusive red shoulder variant
  18. Pretty sure it's a new mould. It looks more articulated and has articulated fingers it seems. Threezero stuff usually have rather disappointing articulation, but i hope they get this right. Also turbo custom pack hopefully.
  19. Amazon thankfully has free shipping to Singapore now (though there are certain conditions and criteria, such as min. $125 spending, no bulky items and Amazon direct sales only etc.), so that's where I get most of my US imports. For other stuff (namely toys), I have to go through a forwarder. They charge a pretty steep fee as it is calculated by every 500grams or so, on top of whatever insurance, fuel surcharge and their own fees, but is always cheaper than directly shipping from the US to Singapore. The downside to that though, is that there is pretty much nothing you can do if the items or packaging gets damaged. Also our country imposes tax for shipments totaling over about $284 USD including shipping.
  20. http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-013462 28,080 yen for damaged box version again. Not the best, but not too shabby I guess?
  21. I thought it was worth mentioning that NY typically lists the last day of the month the item is expected to ship, before updating it when they have a firmer date (usually when they ask for payment as well). Off course, it could very well still be the 29th.
  22. would not mind if they made one, for the right price that is
