Generally, I think mkv files are used for the benefit of the subbers who are too lazy to encode their episodes and render subtitles into them. So they just dump the .srt file with the raw, and change it into .mkv (which is a container format) and voila, instant sub titled anime.

Technically the Macross in DYRL? remained in storm attacker mode throughout the movie, IIRC. I dun think it was ever in the battleship mode, so the emphasis on storm attacker mode is expected. Besides its the storm attacker mode which is iconic for Macross. PS: Imagine if they made a variant where it was battle damaged, and you're able to split the body's torso and comes with a diorama lake to remake macross city.

It truly was a fun series. I remembered how reserved I felt when I 1st saw the mecha designs by this show. Surfing robots that transform into cars.....pffft.....and boy heil Hory Froating Head for the new designs. Anyway...when i saw this scene.....reminds me of :

The pictures look so unreal to me though. I look at it and it really looks like it came out of the animation or it looks like a 3D model. I dun believe that i'm looking at a completed toy prototype. The detail is awesome if it will come completed and painted.

Could this possibly be the item graham is hinting about? From the description, i can see "ABS" and "PVC" but not sure about die cast. You guys sure bout this? Even if there's diecast, i'm sure its gonna be bare minimum to hold some joints.

I know what you mean. I was like *w00ts* throughout the final episodes. And yelling.... "ZOMG!!! Holland HAX!" or "ZOMG!!! GECKO GO x TALHO HAX!" or just.... "HAX HAX HAX!!" in general That was of course in a good way. I think as far as I can nitpick, unfortunately the many other secondary characters(IE: the rest of the gecko go crew) played little to no role in the finale. And i could think of a few ways to make the ending better, but we'll leave that until this thread becomes a spoiler thread in a few days.

As they are made of rubber, try twisting it as you push it in. I find this to make them alot tighter as it gets more grip on the inside. But when trying to get the hands to hold the vulcan with 2 hands, i agree it was quite a chore. The hands kept popping out. PS: You have to remove the rings anyway when putting on the wrist pieces of the waffe bunny.

Dang the french names sound alike. I thought this was about the new anime Les Chevaliers D'eon. No idea what's that about.
