The launchpad/display stand also acts as a storage compartment for all the gunbuster's accesories, just like every other SOC. The inazuma kick in that picture doesn't look very convincing though, but nonetheless, the gunbuster looks awesome. For a transforming toy i'm not expecting much poseability but I wonder how far it can go.

I think this marginalisation happens to the gaijin in general, not necessarily asian foreigners. There still are right-wingers in japan who want to rule japan like the "old times". I agree with JBO....mod swap is highly encouraged and i dun bother with flares. When the enemy flies past, use battroid mode to re orient yourself to her, and then gerwalk mode fire missiles. Incoming missiles, use battroid's 2ndary to blast them all down. Fighter mode to give chase while shooting missiles and repeat.

And why is the right gunpod wrong? Generally i dun see much diff with the movie version.

I know what you mean. I think some of the 0As had their heads shut too tight. Mine included, without pulling the head too hard and risking breaking the head plate, i dismantled the head from the socket, tried to manually pull it out but to no avail. I lodged a diamond screwdriver between the chin and the neck, and gave a slight pry as it came loose and out. Now the neck isn't too tight anymore and i can pull it out when the head is attached.

And considering the nirvash is aerodynamic, maybe it could actually fly without Trapar....geh i was weirded out by this. He made the 1st one for the Nirvash. Then when Nirvash needed an upgrade, he was the only non-military person that could do it. Not sure why those scientists couldn't make one though. Despair syndrome isn't explained very well. I don't think anyone has the answer to this one. Just that when the command cluster was gone, they all came back to themselves, and instead of holding compacs, they were holding books.
