Bah....i finally got the legs to move...but made a mistake with the bridge area.....bending it in a way it as not supposed to...heard a click and to my horror i saw the 2 pegs underneath the bridge had broke!! Thankfully the bridge's transformation isn't affected much except it has more needless motion...just afraid that looseness might set in later. Bah....careful with the bridge guys. I feel so stupid now.

Personally I don't think anyone should watch Macross with an analytical mind as if you're watching Death Note or Code Geass (urgh..season 2 is already suspending my belief). Its just not the series to do that. For me since SDFM, quite alot of things about the story including character development have to be taken with abit of suspension of belief. Macross in every sense is a soap-opera in space. You don't question how the characters fall in love in such circumstances. You don't question why the enemy does some illogical things. You don't question where Kamjin gets his giant turkey drum stick. That said, I agree with your points. But at the same time, it doesn't bother me (as much as the animation and art quality) since Macross doesn't take itself too seriously and neither should we.

I'm still not too happy on the proportions of battroid mode. Shoulder is too big and they don't look as sleek as I thought they should be. Armored mode will definately be affected.

I'm kinda unhappy about the blue missile trails in Frontier. At 1st I just regarded it as missiles in space look like that....and expected smoke trails in the atmosphere ala Macross Zero. Alas the smoke trails in ep 12 wasn't that pronounced. Originally i thought they still had the blue trail but guess i was wrong.

About macronised Zents: 1.) Pity they don't have the reverb/echo anymore. 2.) Ever explained why macro rogue zents are greenish skinned? Perhaps lack of "culture" causes them not to bathe and some space-faring fungus causes them to look green until they are liberated by culture and decide to go on a bath? I don't know what i'm looking at in that pic. Probably cause the VF-27 was "piggybacking" on a cap ship's (Quarter or some other carrier) fold-shell that time, along with the other NUNs/SMS fighters. So it DOESN'T have a fold booster. I am of the opinion that it IS the SDF-1. There were no more Macross ships of the same type after Space War I and it wouldn't make sense to make the exact same copy of ASS-1 after the Zents joined the humans. BTW is the Supervision Army still around?
