Is the entry confirmed or just conjecture? I wouldn't say its near instantaneous travel though since Sheryl and the other passengers had to undergo some kind of stasis sleep when travelling from the Galaxy to the Frontier in the Deculture Edition.

Dude...Nene is the Pink haired one. Ramaria's the short haired tomboy. The only reason why her VA is credited is cuz Careful with the names there. Besides Klan personally told Nene to be alert. And Nene was the one that got shot by Alto in training and screams like the pink haired princess she is. Dun think there's any room for doubt here.

I'm with Mr March and dreamweaver on the Vajra as non malevolent theory and i seperately drew the relation to Ender's Game as well. So here's an update on my theory summary from pages back: Grace is in league with LAI. Bilra owns SMS. May own LAI as well. Bilra may be Grace and if not, she's in league with Bilra. Bilra faction wants to start war with the Vajra to sell weapons. Manipulates Vajra to attack humans. Alternatively or inclusively, Bilra/LAI faction wants to "use" the Vajra due to their ability of super-fold (can go through faults) communications and starting a war against them to possibly capture/subjugate the queen is the best way to do this. Luca may be in league with Bilra as well....hence his "pep-talk" with Leon. But he cares for his friends rather than his "business" more. Vajra queen communicates with her soldiers through the Super Dimensional crystals. Ranka was a human experiment by her parents to explore human ability to communicate/control the Vajra. Bilra faction knows about it but treats it only as a hypothesis since its not proven and they're doing well manipulating the Vajra without controlling them. (hypothesised conversation between between Grace and Brera in ep 13) Alternate theory: Ranka is a Vajra "probe" sent to learn about humans. Very much like Eureka from Eureka 7 and JAM from Yukikaze. (unlikely) The Galaxy fleet is held hostage by Bilra faction(wild unproven theory) V-type virus??? A virus that infects lower life forms (ie: Hydras) to become a node for communication/mind control??? (wild unproven theory) Very possibly, Aimo is a Vajra melody.....just like DYRL? was a Zentran one. Ranka asks her mom if its a song from earth. Her mom says no....then the memory fades off.

Nothing much to add to what has already been said.....but about this translation, i got the impression that Luca said it would normally take 1 day to arrive at Gallia 4 (through fold travel) from where they are but due to fold faults, its gonna take 10 days instead...so its not a matter of time dilation but more of a matter of longer travel times. Right now i'm imagining fold faults to be rough areas of sea where though not impossible to pass, may take longer to sail through the storm....or perhaps shorter time to go around it/through it in normal space. That said...i think Alto and Sheryl took 10 days to travel from Frontier to Galia 4 and were probably in stasis sleep (as shown in ep 00 deculture edition) during travel and no time dilation took place. Also consider that there seems to be fold communications available via the galaxy network allowing for near instantaneous communication between long distance space which would be impossible if there was time dilation to be taken into account. In Macross 7 Encore : Fleet of the Strongest Women and even in Macross Plus, communications with UN HQ on earth seem to be instantaneous and real time rather than taking a month or so for the message to get to their destinations.

I noticed it but i didn't reply to it. I don't think dimension eater creates fold faults....i may be wrong though. And i dun think there was any time dilation in Macross? It seems everything was relative time even in fold-space.

Not surprising really considering fold travel seemed pretty harmless since the 1st TV series. But now we are introduced to Fold Faults/Fold Dislocations that apparently still can be crossed but takes longer time to fold through them over long distances. (as opposed to WH40ks warpstorms that generally blocks the area from being reached in normal or warp space) And based on ep 7, it would seem normally you can't unfold into normal space through a fold dislocation like the Vajra cruiser did. I have the impression that ships can move around a fold dislocation normally in normal space though since they are more or less invisible to the naked eye.

I'm no expert but i regard the barrier system as something that used SD energy, same with the macross cannon, not "fold energy" as you said. Fold anomaly/blackhole/warp...call it what you want...but generally that's what i feel the dimension eater is. It nullifies dimensions(the super dimension included) and probably if you fired a macross cannon into it, it will just fizzle off. So i view it as an anti-matter/warp sorta weapon. Quite interesting if this is Macross' forray into warp technology ala Gunbuster.

Don't think so as one seems to be super dimenstional energy compared to the other which seems like a black hole/anti-matter sorta thing.

Clearly the NUNs are downplaying the situation and need to be "promoted" to the idea that they require Vajra killers like the VF-27 and Dimension Eaters. Hence the events of ep 14. 3.) Probably just Leon....or dissent within NUNs. 4.) We know almost nothing about V-virus so its just a wild theory that they are using fold communications to control other animals. But my theory is Vajra are not engineered/created but controlled solely by the queen (at this point). But Ranka herself seems to have the same ability.

Without being too overly technical....i'll take the easy route of sci-fi...gravity generators and inertia cancellers. The Macross definately has them as during transformation, the GGs were turned off. And because of GGs, up and down SHOULDN'T matter since gravity is always directed in one orientation pre or post transformation. Going by the shape of cruiser mode and storm attacker mode, there are some parts that change orientation after the transformation so i'm assuming in Storm Attacker mode, there are different orientations of up and down in the ship. That said, there shouldn't be a need to re-transform just to use the main leg engines. The ship just has to tilt towards its heading and thrust towards it. I'm also assuming the leg thrusters work in Storm Attacker mode otherwise how else it is able to reach escape velocity from earth's gravity?

I think the SDF-1 would face the same problem if they were against said Super dimensional bulldog. I thought it didn't matter where's up and down in space....so its kinda moot. Just orientate towards the direction you need to be and use the leg engines. Don't even need to transform. Unless of course no power is being fed to the legs in Storm Attacker mode.

Screw that. I say make an anime series of the Megaroad-1. But Kawamori isn't gonna give us that.
