  1. The next chapter of Macross Alexandria: The Colonial War (crossover with Battlestar Galactica 2003): Part 2: Fallout (PDF Download) I am already writing Part 3, and this story will run for around 6 or 7 chapters.
  2. Around the time Episode 25 of Delta came out, I saw someone watching Delta in a McDonald's. Macross isn't that popular here in the Philippines so I think it counts.
  3. The HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark IX Mantis from Halo 4 and Halo 5 resembles a micron-size Glaug with Destroid styling and without the large dorsal gun.
  4. I computed the approximate yield of the reaction weapon used in Episode 13 of Delta based on fireball size and came up with a yield of 4 GT. As it is a physically small warhead, I am pretty sure it is an antimatter reaction weapon not a thermonuclear reaction weapon.
  5. 100 KT is kinda weak, as some present-day nuclear warheads are more powerful than that (though that is for an early-model reaction warhead). Now moving on to speculation, later reaction warheads are supposed to be more powerful, as the reaction warhead used in Episode 13 of Delta is very powerful for its size, I guess it would have a yield of a few hundred MT to a few GT based on the size of the fireball in comparison with the Ragna Island Ship and Sigur Valens.
  6. Here is my first crossover fanfic, a crossover with Battlestar Galactica: Macross Alexandria: The Colonial War Part 1: Contact (PDF Download) Spoiler-free summary: When a NUNS expedition makes contact with another expedition from the Twelve Colonies of Kobol on the planet Kobol, a shooting war ensues. All because of the actions of religious nuts and dirty politicians in the Twelve Colonies. Could war end before the Alexandrian Union NUNS lay waste to the Twelve Colonies? Some notes: This is my first try at a crossover fanfic. It is my own take on the concept seen in fanfics like Against Overreligious Cousins and We Are Not Your Thirteenth Tribe. I also admit that I am not as familiar with Battlestar Galactica as I am with with Macross (I haven't watched the show lol), though I like the concept of those crossovers where the Twelve Colonies have a war with Earth. It is also my first departure from my original plan to write mostly short stories.
  7. From Episode 1, instead of Freyja doing the Walkure sign, the picture had her index fingers brushed out to make her flip the bird.
  8. yes, it is: And in the Frontier movies we get FamilyMart, likely as promotion for the real-life convenience store chain.
  9. It is of course possible to resurrect a dead company, just like Armalite in the firearms industry. And if I get it right, there was a (bland name) McDonald's on the SDF-1.
  10. What I had in mind is that during the wars in the 2000's, some data centers were moved offworld and to the space colonies to reduce the chance of damage to them during the wars. Plus you have people from the colonies (and the SDF-1) who have technical/cultural skills such as scientists, engineers, teachers, librarians (I guess a space colony will have a library of some sort), musicians (like Lynn Minmay), clergy, architects, journalists, etc. who could take part in the effort at rebuilding.
  11. Maybe they have data centers in the space colonies? That would explain why based on scenes from M7, Frontier and Delta, Earth's cultural heritage must have been preserved for the most part as information. They could have used pictures of, let's say San Fransisco, and built a replica of it to modern standards, as they did in Frontier.
  12. I think this refers to the local NUNS forces seen in Delta, as they are just a (very) small part of the entire galactic NUNS forces.
  13. While I admit that I overlooked the part regarding Heinz's singing, it is mentioned in the story that Mustafa and the rest of his squadron are battle-hardened so they have extensive combat experience. His backstory will be explored in a future story I will make.
  14. First, Alexandria is mostly Coptic Orthodox/Anglican/Roman Catholic, so are the protagonists. The Order of Saint Mark is using fold jammers to disrupt the Wind, the VF-19's have been retrofitted with them in pods and the YF-32 (and the future VF-32 which will appear in later stories) have them built-in. Mustafa is on the same skill level as Isamu and possibly even Max/Milia Jenius, and that will be shown in later stories. Heinz would been stressed out from the events of Episode 13 so he won't be able to sing for a while until his coronation as King.
  15. I personally think the KAI T-50 will most likely be chosen, as it is a proven design in service already.
  16. They actually wear transparent suits as well, and I think it goes with a temperature regulation mechanism.
  17. The Macross Cannon from Macross II (which appears in my Macross Alexandria fanfic as Macross Infinity) has FOUR Macross cannons:
  18. My first Macross Alexandria fanfic, White Knight of Darwent meets the Black Nazarene of Alexandria: PDF Download Spoiler-free summary: Shortly after Windermere establishes the Starwind Sector, the Order of Saint Mark is sent by the Alexandrian Union government from the Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy to free the Brisingr globular cluster from Windermere. Now Windermere's top ace pilot, the White Knight of Darwent must face the Sagittarius Galaxy's top ace, the Black Nazarene of Alexandria. Who would win the fight? Some notes: This story diverges from the Macross Delta timeline at Episode 13, as I don't like how the series went after that. And of course to make this story work, Keith sustains only minor injuries when he gets shot down by Hayate and gets back on duty soon afterwards. Most (if not all) of my upcoming Macross Alexandria fanfics will be in short story format.
